Fantastic and lovely cottage 4 good size bedrooms. Lovey views and very quiet. There is a very steep staircase and lose handrail which my mother-in-law in her late 80s found impossible to climb and use. The kitchen is well equipped and lounge is very comfortable.

The pictures of the cottage and grounds are deceiving. Not as big as they make it look. The stairs to upstairs rooms are extremely steep, not suitable for people with mobility issues. The cottage was clean and comfortable if not a little crammed for 8 people if all in same room.

We have just come back from a wonderful family holiday at Bare Farm Cottage. The house is warm, welcoming, clean and very well equipped. There was plenty of room for 5 adults, 3 children plus 2 dogs. Loved the cottage and the small village was perfect with the friendliest pub. Downstairs was perfect, upstairs was lovely and the garden was a haven with friendly horses on the other side of the fence. However, the 'steep' stairs were dangerous with a loose board half way up. Apart from that we loved the quiet location and rural setting, but wouldnRead more't recommend it for families with small children or older people with any mobility issues. Hide
