Weve stayed here twice now and would happily return again. The location is excellent for exploring the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean, with plenty to see and do nearby. The property itself is very comfortable, with a lovely garden and all the amenities youd need for a stay. It worked really well for our group of 6 adults and 1 child, with pleRead morenty of space for everyone. Id definitely recommend taking the walk down to the River Wye and stopping at the The Saracens Head Inn for a drink by the river Hide

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable cottage in a gorgeous setting. The owners had decorated the cottage with Christmas decorations and the Christmas tree was absolutely stunning. We had a magical Christmas week. Thank you so much.

The cottage was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. It was the best cottage for everything that we have ever booked and we are already thinking about when we can re-book. It is spacious yet cozy. It is incredibly well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The location for walks and biking is perfect. It is a beautiful part of the world.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Poplands, the weather was glorious which meant we could make full use of the garden. Lots to do and see, we canoed on the Wye from Ye Olde Ferrie Inn and saw many kingfishers. We also explored the Sculpture Trail in the Forest of Dean, where we saw some deer but sadly no wild boar. The house was clean, lots of eRead morequipment with nice artwork on the walls. Hide

Poplands is a lovely well equipped place to stay especially if you enjoy walking and hiking. It is very close to Symonds Yat with amazing views from the top of the rock. We also visited Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. There's a nice Italian restaurant on the high street in nearby Ross on Wye called Avellino which we would recommend.
