The seaside village of Portreath has a superb sandy beach, popular with surfers and families alike, and it is just a stone's throw from the front door of this property. There is a selection of shops and pubs to choose from in the village, so if you don't want to drive you don't have to, as everything you need is close by. If you do decide to explore further afield, the location of the property makes much of Cornwall easily accessible, particularly via the A30. Head to the cobbled streets of St Ives, surfer's havens at Hayle or Newquay, the Eden Project, or even Land's End, England's most westerly point. For those wanting further adventures on foot, join the South West Coast Path - just a few steps from the property, and explore the gorgeous rugged beauty of the north Cornish Coast. With fantastic views of the sea and beach, particularly from the living areas, and panoramas across the coast line and the village itself,  you can relax in your holiday home admiring the landscape come rain or shine.

This reverse-level property is the perfect place for all the family. Head up to the first floor and create a special meal in the well-equipped kitchen area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Enjoy a family meal in the social dining area with views across Portreath village and towards the sea. Head to the impressive large but cosy lounge area with vaulted ceiling and superb windows giving views across to the sea - get the wood burner going and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV  after a day creating memories on the beach. The wood burner can be enjoyed from both sides as it serves as a divider between the lounge and conservatory. Watch the world go by from the conservatory or admire the sunset and evening views across the beach and Portreath village. The children amongst you can head up to the mezzanine level games room and enjoy a game of pool or laze around the Smart TV on bean bags. When you’re ready for a good night’s sleep, head to one of the four bedrooms. On the ground floor there are two king-size bedrooms and one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request). Completing the ground floor is a contemporary bathroom with a separate shower, WC and bath. Perfect to unwind in after a busy day exploring. Head up to the second floor which boasts the master suite with a super-king-size sleigh bed, dressing area, walk-in wardrobe and generous en-suite with rainwater shower and WC. There is also a handy separate WC/cloakroom off the living room/open plan kitchen/diner.

Heading outside from the conservatory, the property has a seating area on the terrace with spectacular views across the sea and village making this a lovely spot to dine alfresco or cook up a storm on the BBQ. There is off-road parking for one car in front of the property with an electric vehicle charging point.  The parking area is shared with the property next door on a first come first serve basis.

The location is wonderful and we (5 adults and 1 Lab) enjoyed the spacious and comfortable home. Our neighbours kindly parked tight to the railings allowing our SUV access right outside the front door. We would go back again for a winter break.

Fantastic location and great accommodation. Portreath is a great base, with so much on offer within a short drive. Very evident in arrival that property is dog friendly however we did not let it spoil our stay as we had dogs ourselves. However it may put off guests without pets. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely welcome tray on arrival. The location and views were superb. Portreath itself is very chilled.
