Take time to potter around the independent shops, before sampling some delicious local produce in one of the friendly cafes or pubs. Hawkshead is an excellent base for keen walkers, with routes leading to popular beauty spots such as Tarn Hows and Latterbarrow. You'll also be just 3 miles from the woodland trails of Grizedale Forest. Nearby family attractions include the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway (both within 10 miles).

Outside, the rear garden features a steeply sloped lawn with steps leading to an elevated patio area. This is the perfect spot for a sundowner, boasting panoramic views across open fields to the distant fells. In the garage, you'll find a dartboard, pool table, plus ample space to store bikes and outdoor equipment. To the side of the house is a private carport providing parking for one car. There are two further parking spaces just across from the house.
