Set within the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this group of three properties enjoys an exceptional rural location surrounded by rugged moorland and spectacular views. Situated in Coverdale, they offer a secluded retreat while remaining just 2 miles from the charming village of Carlton, home to a community-owned pub. Direct access to footpaths from the doorstep makes the location ideal for walkers and cyclists, with routes such as the Scar House Reservoir circular (12 miles) close by. Renowned beauty spots including Aysgarth Falls (10 miles), Buckden Pike and Great Whernside are all within easy reach, while attractions such as The Forbidden Corner (5 miles), Middleham Castle (6 miles) and Jervaulx Abbey (8 miles) make great options for day trips. The market towns of Leyburn (8 miles) and Masham (13 miles), along with picturesque villages like Hawes (18.5 miles)  – home of Wensleydale cheese – and Kettlewell (13.5 miles) are well worth visiting.

Sleeping 10 people across the three properties, this characterful group of holiday cottages is a wonderful choice for a group getaway. The largest of the trio is suitable for up to six guests. The welcoming barn conversion boasts exposed stone walls and wooden beams. An open-plan lounge/diner is a great spot for socialising together, with comfy seating and a Smart TV. There is charming kitchen, where you can prepare meals to be eaten at the dining table or in the front garden. The ground floor features a super-king-size with zip-and-link beds so it can be made up as a twin on request, and an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, you’ll find two king-size bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and fantastic views of the Dales. The other two properties are designed for couples and share a similar layout. The welcoming lounge areas have wood burners, Smart TVs comfy sofas and dining tables that are ideal for cosy romantic meals. Small sets of steps lead up to the light, bright kitchens, one of which has a breakfast bar. They both have king-size bedrooms and en-suite shower rooms.

The larger property has a private front garden and charcoal BBQ. There is a shared field to the back, which boasts a picnic area and fire pit. The two smaller properties have private patio areas with charcoal BBQs. A shared rear garden offers a large BBQ area with a gas BBQ and dining table, perfect for enjoying sunsets over the Dales. In addition, there is a spacious shared room with a wood burner, dining table, pool table, wide selection of board games and bifold windows opening out onto the communal BBQ area, plus a games barn with table tennis and darts. Please note there is a public footpath that runs through the grounds. Private parking for three cars for the bigger property, and one space each for the smaller two, with additional spaces available by prior arrangement.
