The Scottish Dark Sky Observatory at Dalmellington is less than an hour away and worth a visit for avid star gazers, there is also a great indoor waterpark 30 miles away which is a fantastic day out for all the family. There are lots of activities on the estate, trout fishing, MBT track, working farm, lovely Café overlooking the loch which opens as a restaurant some evenings, woodland wild life walks are just a few.

The lower level has a private en-suite with shower over bath and WC. 1 four poster in a large room, with a pretty stained glass window and large en-suite shower room with WC.1 zip-and-link double, which can be made into a twin on request, with views over the back lawn and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. On the second floor and accessed through a spiral staircase,1 zip-and-link double, which can be made into a twin on request, with open fireplace. This room also has a large sofa bed. On the third floor 1 twin zip-and-link, accessed through spiral staircase to the top of the tower, with exposed beams, far-reaching views and a large sofa bed. Ideal base for big kids and little ones too with TV and PS3 game station. Bathroom: on the first floor, bath with shower over and WC.
