We loved our stay at the castle. Beds were super comfortable and whilst it is grand, it still felt very homely. Lairds Table breakfast was also excellent with a gorgeous view of the lake. The grounds were beautifully kept.

What a great find. This wonderful property absorbed eight adults, six children aged 9 down to 2 and an ageing dog easily. Comfortable beds, seats and rooms. Well appointed kitchen ( 2 dishwashers a bonus) and the entrance hall was a great place to remove outdoor clothing and footwear. We appreciated meeting our hosts early on and knew they were aRead morelways on hand if any problems arose. Freedom to roam the woodlands around the castle, build dens, ride bikes was great for energetic youngsters - entertainment at no extra cost. The Dean Country Park nearby was also a beautifully maintained facility to visit, whilst the beaches nearby offered hours of exploration. Culzean Castle, Dumfries House, Burns Museum in a 30 - 40 minute radius ( plus the Electric Brae) were all on standby as entertainment but remained unused as the grounds of Craufurdland provided so much.Highly recommended Hide
