An impressive five-bedroom property, within its own grounds, set back from the main thoroughfare leading into this popular seaside resort. Woolacombe Beach, beloved by sunbathers and sports tourists alike, lies just 200 metres away. Walkers will have fantastic views of its three miles of golden sands and the surrounding countryside as they journey towards either The National Trust headland of Baggy Point or to Morte Point, a playground for Atlantic grey seals, four and two miles away respectively. After a busy day of exploring, visitors can try one of the family-friendly restaurants in Woolacombe village, just 300 metres away, or if the party fancies a change of scenery, the pubs and restaurants in the village of Mortehoe are just over one mile away.

On the ground floor, a welcoming, spacious living room, enjoying coastal views and featuring sofas, armchairs and a flame effect electric fire, sits off the main hallway. Adjacent to this is the snug area, a quiet corner with seating and doors through to the patio. The snug flows directly into the open-plan kitchen/diner with seating, a place where conversations can take place from all angles. There are five bedrooms at the property, two of which can be found on the ground floor. The first, a king-size, has a zip-and-link bed, so can be changed to twin on request. The second ground floor bedroom is a double, with sea views and an en-suite shower room and WC. The ground floor is also home to a seperate bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, along with another separate WC. A cupboard under the stairs and a large cupboard in the lobby are ideal for storing clothing and footwear. The first floor is home to three bedrooms: a king-size with sea and coastal views and an en-suite shower room with WC; a twin room which can be converted into a super-king-size; and finally, a double with an en-suite shower room and WC. A separate bathroom with a shower over the bath, along with another separate WC, is also available.

Outside, at the back of the property is a grassed area with seating and private parking spaces. A side gate leads to the front and the property’s attractive south-facing patio area with garden furniture, BBQ and views of the coastline and out to sea, perfect for al fresco dining and watching the sunset.

This is a really lovely, spacious house which can accommodate a large number of people very comfortably. The house was perfect for our 3 generations holiday, downstairs accommodation with ensuite and another family bathroom suited my dad and plenty of rooms with ensuites upstairs for the rest of us. The house was perfect for Christmas lunch with the open plan kitchen diner and snug area. Fully equipped with everything you can need including plenty oRead moref crockery and glassware. Thoughtful touches with the lovely welcome parcel and plenty of added extras we'd often have to bring with us. We stayed at Heather Lea for our wedding at Tunnels Beaches and we had our Chinese Tea Ceremony at the property. The location is fantastic, it's just a short stroll into Woolacombe, and with a sea view, what more can you ask for? This is the second year we have stayed at Heather Lea in Woolacombe. It is everything a holiday home should be - clean, well equipped and able to accomodate everyone in the party; whatever their needs. Heather Lea does this in spades and the attention to detail on arrival is exceptional. We have already booked for 2023! I think that says it all.
