The property lies within a beautiful site along the southern outskirts of the North York Moors, offering miles of breathtaking walking trails and glorious landscapes. The characterful market town of Pickering (1 mile) has a choice of independent restaurants and friendly pubs and is home to the historic Pickering Castle and the steam trains of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The area has a wealth of popular attractions for all the family, including Flamingo Land, Kirkham Priory, Eden Camp Modern History Museum, Dalby Forest, Castle Howard, and Ryedale Folk Museum, all within 16 miles. For a day by the sea, head to the glorious North Yorkshire coast, with Scarborough, Filey, Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby all within 25 miles.

A few steps lead up onto the decked area which leads into this spacious and elegantly decorated single-level lodge. Inside, you will be welcomed into the airy and light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which makes a fantastic space for everyone to get together and unwind in after a wonderful day exploring the moors. The bright and engaging lounge area is charmingly furnished, with a large Smart TV, comfortable seating and floor-to-ceiling windows allowing plenty of natural light to stream in. A sociable dining area with a handsome main table is to the side, perfect for family feasts which you can cook in the sleek and fully equipped shaker-style kitchen to the rear. When it’s time to turn in for the night, head down the hall to the three cosy bedrooms. The first is a beautiful king-size room with a handy en-suite shower room, while the other two are cheerful and relaxing twin rooms, all decorated in warm neutral tones to ensure a fantastic night’s sleep. Each bedroom has its own Smart TV. The accommodation is rounded off with a chic and stylishly decorated bathroom with a freestanding bath.

Stepping outside, the raised and enclosed decked area provides a lovely space for everyone to relax and dine alfresco, with ample garden furniture, a BBQ and a bubbling hot tub to luxuriate in. Dogs and their owners can also make use of a 20-acre dog-walking field onsite.
