Located in West Lulworth, just 1 mile from beautiful Lulworth Cove, this attractive cottage is the ideal holiday let if you want to experience rural and coastal life. Wander the Purbeck Hills straight from your door, or pop down the South West Coast Path to Durdle Door (1.5 miles) to see one of Dorset’s most photographed landmarks. But if you fancy a day in, you can still experience the stunning scenery around you, soaking up the sun in the south-facing garden looking out across the hills.

Inside, a beautiful bright hallway greets you with stairs leading up to the first floor and a piano tucked underneath. The living and dining area through to the right boasts superb wooden flooring and comfy sofas to curl up onto in front of the brick-enclosed wood burner in the evenings. Enjoy a wonderful home cooked meal at the table that comfortably fits eight, with lovely views outside. Move into the sun room and sit soaking up the sun with views of the garden. In the kitchen, pretty exposed stone walls complement the farmhouse-style cupboards and island, and you’ll find everything to cook up a storm. A washing machine and drier in the back entrance hall means there’s no need to worry about muddy walks! Across the hallway, you’ll find a double bedroom and a twin; both have a boutique feel with peaceful whites, blues and greys. The double has a spacious en-suite shower room that makes fantastic use of space, while next door a family bathroom features a vintage-style freestanding bath and WC. Upstairs, the landing has a handy clothes rail for your coats and two bedrooms off of it that both have reduced height at the eaves; calming decor features in one double room with an en-suite shower room, while the other twin bedroom has warming orange tones and an en-suite with a bath, WC and cute children’s rocking chair!

Outside, a terrace with patio furniture makes for an ideal spot to enjoy a summer evening while you sizzle up a BBQ, and steps lead up steeply to pretty trees and shrubs and three terraces where you can enjoy fantastic views of the Purbeck Hills.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. We stayed here as a family of 5 adults and 1 german shepard. Firstly, the cottage itself is huge. Plenty of space for everybody. Beds were all really comfortable, bathrooms for every room and a huge living room/diner. Kitchen is well stocked and has a massive fridge/freezer which is not pictured.Read more Massive garden, amazing. Just fyi- top area is not enclosed if you have dogs but bottom area is secure. Location! Was everything! 10 minutes walk to lulworth cove (via road- left out of cottage) or if you fancy something more you can walk there via bindon hill (out of the cottage, turn right, up the road a bit and youll see a gate to your right). Steep hill but views of sea and countryside are worth it. We even saw horses! Lulworth Cove is beautiful- if you are able, walk here as parking is expensive. We often visited finneys for chips. Jakes for homemade ice cream. Two walks here- you can walk out over the hills along the cove. Or along the coast path to Durdle Door. Steep again but I promise you the views are worth it, honestly feels like youre abroad! Take your time, enjoy it. Other days out we did included- portland bill/weymouth, west bay (they filmed broadchurch here!), tank museum, monkey world. The Castle Inn just down the road is a brilliant pub, very friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Top tips- pack an extension lead just incase. Get a food shop delivered- easy peasy. Brilliant holiday- all centred around this cottage. Thankyou Hide

Beautiful property, good location for drivers/walkers but requiring a more thorough clean in areas and some repair TLC. Booked because of "increased accessibility" as party aged 72-86, didn't feel this was a fair description. Access steps uneven, no handrails, side access uneven and dark, garden very very steep and not safely accessible so unusableRead more, paving bricks broken and uneven . The conservatory was the jewel in the crown for this gathering, light and airy with views into the garden. Hide

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas and the owners had kindly put up a Christmas tree and festive lights. The house was ideal for children to play. Great to have a bathroom for each of the four bedrooms. An excellent location in West Lulworth in walking distance of two pubs and the Cove. Would definitely recommend and revisit.
