Situated in the East End part of the bustling village of Corfe Mullen, this stunning property offers a fantastic welcome for up to eight guests exploring this beautiful part of the Dorset countryside. Offering spacious accommodation for larger families and groups of friends, this fantastic property is just 2 miles from the historic market town of Wimborne Minster which has a wide range of great shops, independent restaurants and friendly pubs. To the south, the popular seaside towns of Poole and Bournemouth are within 10 miles, offering some gorgeous stretches of sandy beach. To the north, Kingston Lacy, White Mill and Badbury Rings can be found in the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, all within 5 miles.

This wonderful property features a cosy lounge with oak flooring, beamed ceiling and a wood burner set in a brick fireplace, providing a lovely spot to get together and unwind. There’s further space in the stylish and airy kitchen which doubles as an additional family room, with a large kitchen island, breakfast bar, plenty of seating and bi-fold doors leading through to the garden. The cottage offers a spacious dining room with an oak floor, beamed ceiling, brick inglenook fireplace and inviting dining table. The ground floor also has a welcoming hall, a separate cloakroom and a utility room. Heading upstairs, there’s an elegant family bathroom with a beautiful free-standing bath. You will also find four gorgeous bedrooms: a fabulous king-size with sleigh bed, TV, wooden cot and French doors leading on to the balcony and en-suite shower room; another king-size zip-and-link which can be made up as a twin on request at time of booking, which also has access to a balcony; a characterful twin with exposed beams; and a light and bright double with exposed beams. The double has an en-suite shower room.

Stepping outside, the landscaped garden features a patio with steps leading up to the lawn and with the most fabulous BBQ hut for those evenings enjoying each others company. The outside area is enhanced with a range of mature shrubs and trees, as well as plenty of children’s play equipment including a swing and a slide. The garden also features a separate games room where you can try your hand at table tennis.

This is the third year we have stayed at Dulcima Cottage and again it provided us with a lovely holiday base for our mum to visit our sister and a great location for us to explore the local area. We had a wonderful evening using the BBQ hut, garden and table tennis room to entertain our extended family. A great holiday cottage.

Amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. The facilities are fantastic, location is perfect! We go away yearly as a girls group with our children and this has been the best accommodation by far! Enjoyable cottage to stay in with family. There were six adults and one child in our group and we had plenty of room and privacy when needed.

Dulcima Cottage was a warm and welcoming place to arrive to on a damp and gloomy Saturday in the week before Christmas. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, particularly the beds. The kitchen is well provided for (especially if you are doing 'real' self-catering), and the welcome treats of chocolate biscuits, four pints of milk Read more(not the usual token one or two pints), and bottle of prosecco were a nice surprise. Since we were close to Christmas, it was nice to see a lit Christmas tree and some decorations making the cottage even more homely. The garden is large with many facilities, and if you have small children there is a slide, climbing frame and swings to keep them entertained. The only down side is that after driving into the property's entrance, the only realistic way to exit is to reverse onto a busy road, which is closer to the front of the property than the photo suggests. However, since the main cottage entrance is at the rear within the enclosed garden, there is no real issue for people on foot. Overall this is a good location for visiting many parts of Dorset, or just for local walks to the many nature reserves and open spaces. Hide

We loved our weeks stay here, the kids (3 & 1) really enjoyed exploring the garden, and the house was lovely to come back to after wet and/or windy walks. It was super relaxing to stay somewhere that was so child friendly. Kitchen was well stocked, everywhere was clean, we all really appreciated the welcome pack too

From the moment we arrived we were smitten with Dulcima Cottage. The decor was lovely. The rooms spacious and attractive. Facilities best we have ever had and lovely touches like washing tablets and plenty of toilet rolls and the welcome pack was much appreciated.

We had a fantastic short break, the holiday home was well equipped for our family stay and even had lots of extras. When we had a problem with the drains they were quick to come and sort this out.
