Surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds with wild lakes and an abundance of wildlife, this 16th-century country manor is simply perfect for any occasion. Situated within the heart of the Wye Valley within the rich Herefordshire countryside, there is plenty for all to see and do. Ideal for group walking with well-marked trails and country pubs along the way, the Wye Valley trail can be picked up at Hoarwithy (3 miles) where you can hire canoes and kayaks. For cyclists, the Forest of Dean offers some of the best downhill tracks along with a more leisurely ride for families (15 miles). The area is also steeped in history and you can visit one of the many castles including Goodrich, White Castle, and Raglan, all of which are within 20 miles. Alternatively, enjoy a lazy afternoon exploring one of the vibrant market towns including Ross-on-Wye (7 miles) and the City of Hereford (8 miles).

Set amongst beautiful gardens in the heart of the Wye Valley, the manor is a historic family home originally built in the early 16th century. The house is full of original character including stone mullion bay windows and original fireplaces and finished with beautiful interiors. Inside the house, you will find the ‘Great Hall’, with a huge open fireplace, a bay window and seating for up to 32, perfect for any celebration. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need to prepare and enjoy a fantastic meal. From the Great Hall, guests have access to three further reception spaces. A more formal drawing room with a roaring open fire and piano, a cosy snug with open fire and TV, and a lounge with a card table and chess board. At the far side of the house, there is a fantastic heated indoor pool. The pool room has loungers and a hot tub that will accommodate eight guests – a perfect way to spend a lazy day relaxing with friends. Leading off the pool room is the games room, complete with a pool table, table football, a dart board and a large TV with an Xbox and seating. This stylish country manor offers guests the choice of thirteen ornate bedrooms all finished beautifully and enjoying views across the grounds, five of which benefit from en-suite bathrooms. There are a further five bathrooms and a separate cloakroom with a WC.

Leading off the pool room and conservatory is a walled garden, which is perfect for al fresco dining with seating to accommodate everyone. Guests are free to explore the gardens which are full of interesting flora and wildlife with interconnected lakes.
