Enveloped by rolling fields and farmland, this countryside retreat is a quiet and peaceful escape to the country you have been looking for. Situated in Ashfield which is sandwiched between Debenham (3 miles), Earl Soham (2 miles) and Cretingham (2 miles) all of which boast a pub, and between them also a butchers, local shop, and deli. A fantastic network of public footpaths can be accessed directly from your doorstep that meander through the fields and primarily along the river Deben. Nearby Helmingham Hall (3.5 miles) is a lovely place to visit with open gardens throughout the year. The coast is within easy reach for a day visit too with the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh just 23 miles by car. Here you can enjoy picnics on the pebble beach, take a dip in the sea or peruse the independent shops. You will be spoilt for a choice of things to do during your stay.

This fantastic farmhouse is a true home away from home and has been carefully curated to ensure all your creature comforts are here. The generous modern kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cooking equipment, an AGA, oven, double fridge/freezer and an abundance of storage for your food and drinks. There is also a large island with bar stools to ensure you can cook and socialise at the same time. A handy utility room offers additional storage, washing and drying facilities and a great place for your dogs to stay. The dining room has a big enough table to seat all your guests together for those celebratory meals. There are two living spaces available for your stay, a formal living room with open fire, TV and comfy sofas as well as a snug with soft seating and an open fire. A charming little library with a monk's bench has lots of books to revel in too. To the rear of the house is a light and bright sunroom which has a pool table, TV and seating. Two of the nine bedrooms are on the ground floor, one double and one zip-and-link, with the use of a shared ground-floor shower room. Following upstairs, there are two zip-and-link bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms and a further five bedrooms, two with zip-and-link beds and three with doubles. There is also a large family bathroom too. All of the rooms are generous and well-appointed with all the essentials for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Set within 6 acres of land, this wonderful holiday home has plenty of space and activities to enjoy, with a lovely garden that boasts mature trees, a large lawn ideal for garden games, a hot tub for soaking in and a private tennis court. There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool (April-September) too.
