With contemporary and sophisticated styling, this spacious holiday home is situated in the Norfolk countryside. The perfect group getaway, with walking, cycling, fishing and wildlife spotting on your doorstep. Nestled on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Outwell, which is well-served by shops, restaurants and pubs. One of Norfolk’s oldest market towns, Downham Market, is 6 miles away with rail links to Ely (19 miles), and the historic town of King’s Lynn (19 miles) has plenty to offer. Welney Wetlands Wildlife Reserve (10 miles), Denver Windmill (7 miles) for cream teas, and the King’s Estate at Sandringham (24 miles) are all worth a visit.

Upon entering this stunning retreat, you are welcomed by a spacious, open-plan living area, perfect for celebratory occasions or long-awaited get-togethers. There is ample comfortable seating to snuggle up on in front of the TV, a bar for evening fun with no one needing to be the designated driver, and a pool table for some competitive entertainment. There is also a large dining table for gathering friends, sharing laughter and enjoying each other’s company over drawn-out feasts. The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, plus a handy breakfast bar with seating. There is another dining area in this space which is ideal for devouring a full English breakfast before heading out for the day. The utility room with laundry facilities and downstairs shower room offer convenience when coming in and out of the hot tub. Well-suited to multigenerational groups, you’ll find two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed and one twin bedroom) both with en-suite bathrooms on the ground floor, and four bedrooms (three king-size beds and one twin bedroom) with en-suite shower rooms on the first floor.

Outside, the wraparound courtyard leads out from the kitchen/dining area around to a private hot tub where you can soak in the bubbles with a glass of fizz in hand. There is a BBQ and seating for dining alfresco. This luxurious barn is part of a small complex, which is on the site of an old Benedictine Priory. There is access to an acre of the owner’s land outside the property for walking and spotting local nature. Amazing stay! I couldnt have wished for better for my hen weekend. The place is incredible and everyone has such a great time.
