This luxurious barn conversion on the edge of the Blackdown Hills AONB offers the perfect escape for large families and groups. Set on the owner’s working farm and surrounded by countryside, guests here are spoilt for choice when it comes to walking trails and bridle paths. The National Trust Wellington Monument is just six miles away with rewarding views over Devon and Somerset from

the summit. The local of towns of Cullompton (seven miles) and Tiverton (14 miles) are just a short drive away and both offer unique histories as well as local shops, pubs and restaurants. While the neighbouring villages of Craddock (two miles) and Uffculme (three miles) are both quintessentially Devonian, with welcoming pubs waiting to greet you. Devon’s capital Exeter is also just 20 miles away and promises some of the county’s best shops, eateries and bars.

On entry guests are met by a spacious hallway with country and contemporary stylings that leads though to an open-plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen comes with all you need to cook your favourite dishes, and the dining room has all the space needed for the whole house to gather at the end of the day. The utility room next door will come in handy with its laundry facilities as well as its adjoining WC. Next are the two bedrooms found on the ground floor, these are both super-king-size, one of which boasts an en-suite shower room. Climb the bespoke staircase to find the comfortable living room with stunning views of the countryside around; with its sky lights and full height windows this room makes for a light and airy spot to relax. Make use of the French Doors that open on to a glass-fronted veranda that offers the perfect space to soak up the sun. And from the living room you’ll find the property’s remaining bedrooms; a super-king-size with its own en-suite and Juliette balcony, a king-size and a super-king-size that both offer TVs and share a plush family bathroom.

Outside is all the space and greenery that guests need to make the most of their gorgeous surroundings. Follow the winding gravel path through the garden to find a charming stone water feature, a sheltered hot tub, table tennis table and outdoor swimming pool. Younger guests can also run wild in the enclosed play park, while the patio and outdoor BBQ lodge offer the ideal spaces to dine al-fresco.
