One of three beautiful escapes on site, this beautifully renovated farmhouse is nestled right on the Devon and Cornwall border, meaning guests are spoilt with an array of stunning coastlines, along with scenic countryside trails and natural wildlife. Take the short 5-mile trip into the glorious seaside town of Bude where you will find pristine golden beaches, rugged cliffs, and a wonderful array of local shops and fine eateries. Immerse yourself in the idyllic coastal lifestyle, where endless opportunities for surfing, swimming, and sunbathing await. Walking enthusiasts will love the rugged coastline walks and a visit to Hartland Quay (18 miles) offering twig-crackling walks and wild scenery. If you wish to go a little further afield, the North Devon beach of Westward Ho! and the pretty Cornish villages of Tintagel, Port Isaac and Rock are all within 35 miles.

Stepping into this beautiful escape you will soon notice the stunning blend of both original and contemporary features on offer. The light filled 16th century farmhouse has been lovingly converted over the last 15 years (up to 2023) to provide a truly wonderful retreat for friends, family and even a pawed friend. The initial living area consists of a double-ended set up, with an open fire one end and wood burner directly opposite by the stairway heading upstairs. From here you can head on through into the timber clad extension which was designed by award-winning architects. This west-facing space consists of an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with surrounding bi-fold doors and windows providing access to the private terrace where you can take full in the extensive countryside views and evening sunsets. The lounge and dining spaces provide ample seating for all guests whilst the plentiful kitchen facilities and appliances allow you to relax for a stress-free stay. If these two entertainment areas are not enough, then you will be happy to hear there is a further additional snug which is a wonderful place for anyone looking to relax and read a book, or get your game on with your favourite board games. Completing the downstairs is the family bathroom, with shower over bath and WC. Heading upstairs is where you will find the four spacious bedrooms. Two rooms consist of a king-size bed, with one having an additional en-suite shower room, there is also a double bed along with a twin room. A further family bathroom with shower over bath and WC complete this incredible home’s interior.

Heading outside onto the private terrace, guests are treated with an outdoor dining area which has a Gozney pizza oven. Beyond that are beautiful mature gardens just for you. Stray further and there is an additional shared garden with trampoline and football goals for all the family to enjoy. Guests are invited to collect eggs from the friendly hens.
