Located at the front of a cluster of gorgeous, newly built (2020) Norfolk flint houses, this beautiful home is just a short walk (850 metres) from the beach, with mile-upon-mile of scenic Norfolk Coast Path to explore. The village amenities include a charming tearoom, gallery and a village pub. Jump aboard a train on the North Norfolk Steam Railway from Weybourne which will take you to the charming traditional seaside town of Sheringham with beautiful long beaches (3 miles) or to the popular Georgian town of Holt (4 miles), where you will find an array of boutique shops, pubs and restaurants. Holt is a beautiful town in the winter season with the famous Christmas lights and Light Switch on hosted in mid November. The popular seaside resort of Cromer (7 miles) is a wonderful destination for a day out, with activities including crabbing, crazy golf, amusements, and Amazona Zoo, or visit the pier and catch a show at the Pavilion Theatre? And dont forget to try the famous Cromer Crab! The Norfolk Coast line really has all year round activities to offer and will not disappoint. 

Enter this spacious and lovingly furnished property via the front door, arriving in the hallway where you can begin exploring your home-away-from-home. The ground floor has a gorgeous living room complete with a wood burner, a large Smart TV and enough comfortable seating for all. Cosy up with loved ones on a dark, chilly evening and put on your favourite movie whilst the log burner crackles away. Across from the lounge is a snug area with a sofa and a wall-mounted Smart TV. The owners have provided some board games, jigsaws and a comprehensive selection of DVDs too, so you won’t be short of entertainment for the children. There is a downstairs WC in the hallway, which then leads on to the contemporary-style kitchen which has everything the chef of the group could wish for to prepare a light snack or hearty dish. When it comes to mealtimes, you can either choose to sit at the breakfast island with three bar stools or head over to the dining table which can comfortably seat up to eight guests. Completing the ground floor is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super-king-size bed, with ample storage space and an en-suite shower room. There is also a king-size room, a room with triple sleeper bunk bed and a twin room too. These bedrooms have plenty of storage space and share a family bathroom.

The garage outside has been converted into a wonderful games area with table tennis, a pool table and a dart board, all available for you to spend some quality downtime with friends and family. Lovely spacious house in a quiet location but within a short distance from many other places to visit. Well equipped with the extra bonus of a games room! Perfect for our older boys. Would definitely book again!

Fantastic holiday cottage. Games room a real bonus. Lots of space. Enclosed garden for dog. Beds were lovely and comfortable (if you like a hard ish bed which we do). The showers were good too. The beach was 15 mins walk away and can have the dog off lead. The Ship Inn pub was two mins walk and served great food including for vegetarians with some Read morevegan options. The broads were accessible too with Wroxham being a 50 min drive away - we hired a boat for a day, lots of fun. Would definitely rebook this cottage if coming back to the area. Only small negatives were that the cleaners had missed some areas including the toilet and there wasnt enough cleaning materials to easily resolve. Had to buy some - would recommend to the owners to put toilet cleaner and brushes in each bathroom. Also in the house rules book it was requested that dogs were not allowed on the beds and not to let the dog urinate on the grass - would have been helpful to know this in advance. It wasnt too much of an issue but we have a springy spaniel who is used to doing both so took a bit of managing. Overall though a lovely cottage, thank you. Hide
