Located on an exclusive development just a mile from the centre of beautiful Holt, this superb, detached house is an ideal destination for families or groups of friends – perhaps celebrating a special occasion. Full of charm and character, the Georgian town has lots to see, including art and antiques galleries, fashion boutiques, places to eat and food shops offering the best of local produce. Holt Country Park has more than 100 acres of woodland to discover, and the town is also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, where you can pick up the Poppy Line and enjoy a heritage train ride to Weybourne and Sheringham. A 5-mile drive will take you to the stunning North Norfolk coast (much of which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), where you can experience nature reserves, sailing, seal watching and vast sandy beaches, while in 4.5 miles you can reach Glandford, with its quirky shell museum, fun for adults and children alike.

This fantastic, two-storey house has a conventional layout, with living, cooking and dining spaces downstairs, and elegant bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. The attractive, open-plan lounge/diner has a brick-lined fireplace enclosing a large wood burner, around which are gathered the striking sofa and armchairs, while at the far end of the room is the dining table, quirkily accompanied by a mismatched set of chairs. The painted, Shaker-style kitchen is stunning and has an island/breakfast bar, an excellent range of appliances, and kitchen kit that includes a set of chef’s knives – perfect for creating meals like you would at home. This room leads to a separate utility housing the laundry facilities, and there is also a snug with a Smart TV and seating. Upstairs, there are four gorgeous bedrooms, two of which are king-size with en-suite shower rooms, as well as a further king-size and a super-king-size room (the latter, on request, can be made up as a twin) that both share a fabulous family bathroom.

The enclosed rear garden has a large lawned area and a patio with seating and a dining table. Relax on a sunny day, reading a book or grilling some supper on the BBQ, or spend an evening around the fire pit planning the next day’s adventures.

What you see in the description is more or less what you get. We have done two bookig through the website and both have gone very smoothly. Good quality properties in both cases

The website does state the property is a mile from Holt yet also described this as a short stroll. The website also stated there is access to a table tennis table but this was not the case as there was no access to the garage.
