Nestled in the hillside of East Looe, overlooking the town, this house is the perfect spot for a big family holiday or a getaway for a group of friends. The town of Looe has enchanting narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it. Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe which is the perfect spot to watch the world go by and there are plenty of other eateries if you love eating out. If you want to test out your sea legs then why not take a boat to Looe Island, to see a plethora of rare plants and wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.

Inside, this beautifully styled house is spacious right from its entrance hall. The gorgeous living room has high ceilings and comfortable seating with feature electric fireplace which is great for relaxing to watch TV or enjoy the fabulous views across the town through the patio doors. The kitchen diner has all guests need to rustle up delicious meals, which can be enjoyed at either the breakfast bar or dining table. On the first floor are two bedrooms - one with a king-size bed and a huge bay window with fantastic harbour and town views. The second bedroom is a twin. Both bedrooms on this floor can use the family-style bathroom which has a spectacular claw-foot bath with a double shower over it and a WC. The second floor is home to two further bedrooms. One king-size and one twin. The king-size bedroom has a picture window with far-reaching views. This floor also has its own bathroom with another claw-foot bath and separate shower cubicle in addition to a WC.

Outside, through the living room’s patio doors is a covered sun terrace to the front of the house with an additional deck and seating at a lower level with fabulous views of the river, Kilminorth Woods and West Looe.

Very comfy beds and well equipped. Looe has lost to offer from good restaurants, pubs and lovely independent shops all dog friendly. lovely coastal path walk to Polperro where you can catch the bus back. There is a train station in Looe as well so no need to use the car during your stay

The property itself is very nice. Comfortable, clean and well appointed. The views are also stunning. The difficulty is getting any large amounts of luggage to the property. There is a service offered by a local man, Pete, who for a small fee will meet you at the main car park with his quad bike and trailer and take your luggage to the property. ThRead moreis service should be advertised and promoted on the website/confirmation email. To say that the road to the property is difficult is an understatement. If your car is larger than a small car or rear wheel drive you simply wont make the incline, irrespective of your driving confidence. Hide

Fantastic house, extremely clean and spacious. Fabulous view. The hill is a little tricky but make you feel like you earn your drink once gazing out from the terrace.

The house was lovely, it was clean and well presented. The hill and access was not ideal, but we knew this would be the case with the view offered. In terms of equipment there were a huge amount of plates which was useful but we would suggest adding a cafetire- we tried to locate one in Looe but could not find one.
