This splendid three-storey house situated in a lovely seaside town is ideal for families looking for an active holiday close to the beach and a short drive to nearby attractions. Located in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the property is less than 500 metres from the beach and promenade, with Southwold Harbour 1.5 miles away. Southwold has many independent shops, an iconic lighthouse, pretty beach huts and footpaths to explore out across the marshes. Close by is Covehithe Beach and Benacre National Nature Reserve (5 miles). Lowestoft is also just 12 miles away and there are plenty of opportunities to access and walk the beautiful Suffolk Coast Path.

This is an elegant home beautifully furnished, offering bright and inviting spaces perfect for social gatherings. The hallway has doors leading to the sitting room, dining room and kitchen. Beautiful, tastefully decorated house, well equipped, very clean. Pretty, festive decorations for New Year. Excellent location, three minutes walk to the high street or beach, with parking in street, even though it was New Year when parking in Southwold can be a nightmare. Would come again.

I've used Original Cottages (Suffolk Secrets) many times and this year we had to cope with a very late cancellation due to flood at our booked property. The company was able to find a very suitable alternative at very short notice and we enjoyed a great holiday!
