Property code: OC-MURLLY

Located on the glorious Llyn Peninsula, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming Welsh farm cottage is conveniently situated for groups of friends and family to explore an array of local beaches and attractions. The Llyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers breathtaking scenery and over 100 miles of coastline. For cliff-top walks and wildlife spotting, guests can take a stroll along the Wales Coast Path, whilst all the Llyn’s lovely sandy beaches are within easy reach of the property. For those looking for something a little more active, guests can take part in several water sports or enjoy a spot of golf in the popular seaside resort of Abersoch, which is within 4 miles of the property.

This property has been sympathetically refurbished to a high standard throughout. The lounge's traditional stone walls and cosy wood burner are perfectly contrasted by the stylish decor and contemporary velvet sofas that face the large picture windows with uninterrupted views across the countryside. Leading from here is a generous kitchen/dining area with a bespoke dining table and modern appliances, with French doors from the kitchen opening to the patio. You’ll also find a utility room and a bathroom with a free-standing bath. Two of the property’s four bedrooms are also on the ground floor; a beautifully furnished double room with exposed beams, and a light and airy bunk bedroom. On the first floor is a wet room, and the remaining two bedrooms: a double with low, sloping ceilings, and a twin room.

Outside is a large south-facing lawned garden with stunning panoramic sea and countryside views, with a patio area, a BBQ and ample outdoor furniture.

Back in the 60s 70s my grandparents owned this cottage. What a treat to come back decades later and see such a beautiful transformation. An amazing stay and the memories live on. Thank you.

Our first visit back to the area after 10 years and as wonderful as ever. A fabulous cottage, well equipped, warm and very comfortable perfect. We really enjoyed been away from the main village of Abersoch, but close enough to enjoy it. Excellent dinner at The Dining Room book in advance!

Had a lovely stay at the cottage- the views are amazing! Days spent at the beach and then BBQs back at the cottage watching the sun go down. Have been coming to Abersoch for years and the cottage was a great base to explore the hole of the Llyn! Highlight was SUP boarding with 2 pods of dolphins at Porth Ceiriad!
