Overstrand has attracted some famous faces in the past: Winston Churchill was known to holiday here and the village has some fine and unusual properties dating from various periods. The Edwardian influence is apparent as you wander the many streets on your way toward the beach (0.5 miles). Stay on the beach for the day on sunny days or move up to the clifftop and brace for a windy walk if the weather isn’t as fine. The Victorian town of Cromer isn’t far away (2.5 miles), which has its own beach, along with a boating lake, zoo, cinema, golf club and tennis courts. The Grade II-listed Cromer Pier houses the Pavillion Theatre, so catch a show or catch your dinner when you go crabbing for the famous Cromer crab. Head inland and visit the National Trust’s Blickling Hall (11 miles) or the closer Felbrigg Hall (4 miles) for a taste of history, with the former being on the site of Anna Boleyn’s birthplace.

This sophisticated and modern property with bespoke features throughout offers a real slice of luxury to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to the North Norfolk coast. Arrive at the entrance hall and discard your heavy coats and boots. There’s also a handy cloakroom with WC here for you to use before exploring further. Curl in front of a good film in the property’s family room where a comfortable L-sofa and pouffes await in front of a warming wood burner. There’s a Smart TV here with Netflix, Apple, Amazon Prime and Disney Plus, as well as a piano, a desk and printer and a selection of books and games. There is another living area which is open-plan and shares its space with the kitchen and dining area. The living area has another wood burner and another Smart TV with Netflix, Apple Amazon Prime and Disney Plus, and the dining area has a table to seat all eight guests. The modern kitchen has an island breakfast bar, an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Bosch coffee machine and bi-fold doors leading to the patio so you can let the outside in. For washing your clothes, there’s a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Completing the ground floor is the master bedroom: a super-king-size room with a Smart TV and beautiful patio doors leading to the garden. Whoever has this room will enjoy an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower and WC. The final three bedrooms can be found on the first floor: two king-size rooms both with Smart TVs. One of these rooms boasts a Juliet balcony and an en-suite wet room with a walk-in shower and WC. The last bedroom has two ¾ double beds and a Smart TV. Finally, the main bathroom has a freestanding slipper bath with a shower attachment, a walk-in shower and a WC.

Head outside through either the kitchen or the master bedroom and enjoy your enclosed patio with a few steps up to a lawned garden. There is a table and chairs under an umbrella and further seating surrounding a fire pit. There is also a BBQ for guest use and there is private off-road parking for three cars.

Seaglass was recently awarded with the coveted 2023 Customers' Choice Award based on guest feedback.

Loved our stay at Seaglass. A spacious well thought out space and equipped with everything you need. The kitchen living area is perfect for those lazy mornings and we made use of the large snug in the evenings cosying up and watching films. Lorna was super helpful with arrival instructions, we loved reading the book showing the history of the house and renovations. Will certainly return for another stay - can see why it is so popular. Beautiful cottage, found the stairs a little precarious but couldn't fault it otherwise. Little nervous reversing out of the property.

We stayed at Seglass over Christmas and had the most wonderful time. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and the kitchen so well equipped, the most well equipped holiday cottage we have stayed in. We baked cakes, made cocktails. cooked Christmas dinner with no hassle at all. The downstairs bedroom and ensuite is beautiful, our elderly parents Read morewere really comfortable and the walk in shower was so easy to use with the stool and the hand rails. The snug is fantastic, I worked from there for two days on the desk. WiFi is great, had no problems and I was doing video calls regularly. The rest of the time we enjoyed many films with the surround sound and the large sofa is so comfy. Such a large house for a multi-generational family with TV's in every bedroom and space for everyone to do their own thing or spend time in the main kitchen diner. The games cupboard is well stocked up, we spent many hours playing chess and Linkee. Highly recommend Seaglass. Thanks so much we would love to visit again. Hide

Absolutely amazing! The owners have honestly thought of every little touch to make this a great holiday. We actually didn't want to spend too long away from the house as it was so comfortable. Perfect for summer and winter breaks and the owners communication was top rated. We will definitely be returning again.
