Overstrand has attracted some famous faces in the past: Winston Churchill was known to holiday here and the village has some fine and unusual properties dating from various periods. Head inland and visit the National Trust’s Blickling Hall (11 miles) or the closer Felbrigg Hall (4 miles) for a taste of history, with the former being on the site of Anna Boleyn’s birthplace.
