For those heading on holiday with a wider group or as two families travelling together, these two properties offer the best of both worlds, with space and privacy whilst staying in close proximity to one another in the coastal town of St. Ives. Head to one of the four local beaches, with Porthmeor best known for its surf and Porthminster, Porthgwidden and Harbour Beach are all great locations for all ages, with golden sands, rockpooling and more. In the town, the cobbled streets are a delight to walk through, passing galleries, independent shops and cafes with all you could need for a week away. For long walks, the South West Coast Path offers gorgeous trails through coastal landscapes with panoramic views.

The first property is full of charm, with a reverse-level layout featuring a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner on the second floor which is a great space to socialise. This is a space with exposed brickwork, wooden beams and a conservatory-style room with a glass ceiling. This gives an indoor/outdoor feel and offers magnificent views of the harbour and town. There is comfortable seating throughout as well as a dining table for six and a well-equipped kitchen. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, the two doubles both have their own en-suite bathrooms, and the final bedroom is a twin. There is also a family shower room located on the same floor. The second property is a former art gallery and retains many of its original features with exposed brickwork, high beamed ceilings and bespoke artwork. Opening up into the lounge area, this cosy space has two large sofas, a Smart TV and a feature inglenook fireplace, great for lazy evenings. Next door is the kitchen/diner with ample space to prepare a feast which can be served up on the dining table whilst chatting or watching another TV. You’ll also have access to the courtyard from here, as well as to a handy utility room. This home-from-home has two bedrooms, firstly a double with an additional single boasting a TV and an en-suite shower room with a rainfall shower head, and secondly another double. Finally, there is a family bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Outside, there is a courtyard garden as well as additional seating in the orangery looking toward the courtyard where long summer evenings can be enjoyed.

This is an excellent place to stay, with plenty of space and character, maintained and furnished to a good standard. It's situated in the centre of St Ives and has no parking but if you dump your car in one of the large Out-Of-Town car parks for a week, the fact that everything is within very easy walking distance is great.
