Property code: OC-566403

Perfectly positioned for discovering all that the Northumberland coast has to offer, this gorgeous four-bedroom holiday home provides a stand-out base for any group of eight holidaymakers. The property is located in Craster, a fishing village with a harbour, a local pub and an art gallery. Head to a nearby seafood restaurant or pick up some supplies at the fishmongers (less than 0.5 miles) to try famous smoked kippers – a royal family favourite! From here you can follow the coastal pathway up to Dunstanburgh Castle (1.5 miles), a striking heritage location that’s managed by the National Trust. Another attraction close by is Howick Hall (2.5 miles), a delectable country house with marvellous gardens. For a typical beach day, there’s a small stretch of sand right here at Craster along with wider, more remote beaches at Embleton (2.5 miles) and Longhoughton (5.5 miles).

Rich tones, reclaimed wood fittings and stylish antique-style furnishings make this two-storey holiday home a real gem on the Northumberland coast. As you head inside, you’ll find ample space in the hallway to leave coats and shoes behind. From here, step on through to the kitchen/diner that’s been decorated to an exceptional standard. An exposed brick fireplace is home to a warming wood burner for cosy nights in. You’ll also find a Smart TV and exceptionally comfortable sofas to sink into when relaxing together. The kitchen is a generously proportioned room with slate flooring, quality wooden fixtures and a statement Belfast sink, as well as any appliance you may need to create a tasty dish or two. As well as a utility room and a handy downstairs WC, the ground floor presents a spacious king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. A second king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room can also be found upstairs on the first floor, along with two further twin bedrooms. Each bedroom presents its own unique aesthetic in rich, luxurious tones. Finally, a beautiful family bathroom with a sumptuous roll-top bath completes the property’s offering.

Soak in the sea air and admire views across the harbour when relaxing in your own garden. Complete with a children’s play area and a raised decking space with furniture, this outdoor area is fantastic for those warmer afternoons and evenings.

The cottage was well equipped, clean and within easy reach of lovely pubs, shops and bus services. We were a party of 7 and the cottage had ample space to enjoy the weekend and relax, Thank you so much, we will definitely be back

The cottage we stayed in provided a beautiful environment. It was really well equipped in a range of ways and very clean and well kept. The cottage itself more than lived up to expectation, which meant that evenings spent relaxing there were comfortable and inviting. The aesthetics were lovely with interesting art prints and maps of the local area.Read more Communication about arrival and departure were clear. Hide
