Discover something delightful for the entire family in this statement beachfront property, a four-bedroom gem on the Northumberland Coast AONB. Providing the perfect base for exploring Beadnell and the coastline further afield, this property benefits from a marvellous beachfront location. Step out and spend time on the sand, swim in the waters, or try your hand at crabbing and rock pooling. Within close reach, you’ll find a couple of local pubs and a popular fish and chip shop offering an authentic seaside stay (0.5 miles). Popular locations close by include Seahouses (2 miles), a busy village with a harbour offering Farne Island boat rides, and Bamburgh (5 miles) with its historic castle and fascinating Grace Darling Museum. And, for those who prefer country adventures over coastal days out, the Northumberland National Park is less than 25 miles from home.

Generously proportioned and offering a modern décor throughout, this luxurious, light-filled property really is a wonderful place to stay. Step inside to find the open-plan living area with a living room, dining space and contemporary kitchen. The kitchen is any chef’s dream location with a wide spectrum of appliances including a food processor, a coffee machine and a wine cooler. As you step through into the lounge/diner, you can admire far-reaching sea views from dramatic French doors. The lounge has been fitted with comfortable seating options, a Smart TV with Sky Q and a surround sound system. There’s also a handy utility room and additional WC right here on the ground floor, along with the first of four bedrooms. This room is made up of a super-king-size bed with zip-and-link beds, and an en-suite bathroom that can also be accessed via the hallway. Head upstairs to be greeted by further marvellous sea views from the first-floor lounge area. This room is a wonderful spot for reading or simply taking in the scenery. Three bedrooms are located on this floor: a king-size master bedroom and two family bedrooms each sleeping three guests. The master bedroom benefits from its own en-suite bathroom, whilst the two additional bedrooms share a Jack and Jill en-suite shower room. One of the family bedrooms offers a zip-and-link king-size bed, the other a simple double bed. Finally, the master bedroom is equipped with an additional sofa bed to host one adult or two children if needed.

Along with direct access to a beautiful stretch of beach, this property benefits from two private outdoor spaces. The first is a smaller balcony on the first floor, accessible via French doors in the upstairs lounge space. The second is a generous terrace with plenty of furniture, a BBQ, a hammock and children’s toys and games. You’ll also find a garage offering additional storage for bikes and other sporting equipment.

Fabulous family weekend at this beautiful home. Beadnell has beautiful beaches and good pubs/eateries close at hand. The accommodation was perfect for all of our 3 generation family and we loved the space to enjoy my husbands 60th birthday including having a private chef for Saturday nights dinner. We would love to return!

We love this house! It is a very special place. This was our second visit and wont be our last. Lots of space for us to come with the children and grandchildren. Beadnell is a lovely village with lovely pubs and lovely beaches but the best part of this property is the fantastic location right on the beach with such an amazing view!

Excellent property and location for which you pay a premium amount to rent. We had a great stay. However when paying a premium you expect things to be perfect and there are a few maintenance issues that require attention. Black mould present in all showers. Where there were curtains to draw at the windows it was difficult to do so as they would not run along the pole very well, particularly the front door curtain. Broken upper kitchen unit (Which held the glasses) made it very tricky to get glasses out unless you held the door up to do so. Some light bulbs need replacing. Rug in downstairs lounge full of large holes. Outdoor area over looking the beach needed sweeping and planting areas down the side sorting out. The hammock we had to do running repair to get it attached and a large bolt was missing from the frame. Swing seat doesn't swing properly. No outdoor furniture was not present when we arrived, it was being replaced and it arrived later that night. We assisted the owner in sorting it out. so it was built by the end of the evening. But we were unable to sit out for our evening meal. Hide

Mostly answered high as we were all very pleased with most things. I marked cleanliness down a little as there was some dust around on ledges and skirting boards. One of the family brought her pillow out as the pillowcase had small marks on it- washed in marks but she wasnt happy with it. Also there were animal hairs on the cushions and rug. The Read morelarge beds in the bedrooms where they were zipped beds had problems! They tended to have a gap between the two mattresses and actually one mattress was higher than the other! That did cause sleeping in comfort a problem. A major concern was mixed instructions on how and where and when to dispose of waste! I rang your emergency number on the Saturday as the Blue bin was full when we arrived! I got a text back and then rang again. I spoke to Beccy, who seemed as confused as we were! She said the Blue bin was for glass and recycling- went out Tuesday night for Wednesday emptying. Our instruction in the folder was no glass in the bin but glass had to be taken to the recycling in Beadnell. We put the already full bin out on Tuesday aevening, along with general rubbish in the green bin, as we had observed other bins along the road and left them out all Wednesday. The green bin was emptied during Wednesday. The Bue bin was emptied early Thursday morning! Beccy also said Black bin for general waste and she had no instructions at all for the Green bin We took the glassware to the recycling in Beadnell , used the Blue bin for other recycling and the green bin for general waste! In the folder your colour coded information is irrelevant as the colours dont relate to the bins! The whole situation with both waste and recycling needs reviewing as the information I got via text just before we left was different again. This is also applies to what to do with laundry and washing up before we left. The information in the booklet is not the same as my text instructions. As we wanted to do everything correctly it became quite an issue with us all to make sure we did what you required. Hide

The reason for the mark of 3 on the "cleanliness at the property" is because we found the en-suite bathroom downstairs to be smelly which we believe was coming from the plug holes. We purchased some Zoflora disinfectant and put that down the plug holes and toliet which greatly helped. On first use of the shower in this bathroom the water was going Read moredown the plug hole very slowly so we purchased some Mr Muscle drain unblocker which seemed to do its job. The same smell was also found to be present in the upstairs bathroom which the 2 bedrooms jointly shared and again we used some Mr Muscle drain foamer in there which helped and then also bought some dettol which we put down afterwards in both bathrooms. I think the drains need to be looked at in the future to avoid this happening again. Hide

The location of this property was outstanding and made us forgive the shortcomings - bird dirt all over the front step and door from a swift's nest that we had to step through each time we went through the door, and the rather tired nature of the furniture in the upper sitting room. It would have been nice if the window frames had been wiped down aRead morend the terrace swept as the overall impression again was that the property was tired. Having said all that we had a wonderful time and were impressed with the high level of equipment provided as we were eating in most meals. The layout of bedrooms was very flexible which meant my 92year old mother could sleep on the ground floor. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, and there were plenty of games for the children including a Play Station which was impressive. Overall the combination of location and excellent weather made it an ideal choice for our family and we would definitely use it again. Hide
