Visit the superb Cornish Birds of Prey Centre (1 mile) and the Camel Creek Adventure Park (3.5 miles) with its rides, giant play areas and animal encounters. Jump aboard the Lappa Valley Railway (14 miles), a steam train ride through a world of adventure. The lodge’s interior is a marvel of space, light and contemporary design. The ground floor has two bedrooms: a double and a dual-aspect super-king-size. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a superb convivial space, with extensive views that constantly change with the weather; it’s a great place to simply be amongst close friends and family, on the two sofas watching the Smart TV, around the dining table for eight, or in the kitchen preparing a feast of fine local fare. The huge glass doors access the balcony, with its lake and countryside vistas and large dining table and chairs for eight. The ground floor bathroom is spacious and tranquil, with a corner bath, bidet and thermostatic shower. The first floor has a sitting room with a TV, a wide picture window and patio doors opening onto a balcony with panoramic views, and a bistro set for two. The first floor is also home to the final two bedrooms: a double with balcony access, and a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room.
