This two-storey property in a delightful seaside village in the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is an ideal getaway for a group of friends or larger extended family. If you fancy some nature watching, Collin’s Island is 5 miles away and Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve is 1.5 miles away.
As you enter the house, you’ll be won over by the tranquil and homely atmosphere. The sitting room boasts a large bay window which lets in streams of natural light. Relax on one of the three comfortable sofas around the crackling wood burner and Smart TV with an Apple TV box. Inside the dining room, there is a sturdy wooden dining table, chairs and a bench seat. When it’s time to cook up a storm for your guests, the bright kitchen has sparkling surfaces and plenty of space to move around. Through a wide archway, there is a small table and chairs, which is perfect for enjoying breakfast. Also on the ground floor is a playroom, which is perfect for a rainy day or a competitive evening with your guests. Get stuck into a game of darts, listen to some music and turn on the disco lights, or just relax on the sofa. There is also a utility cupboard with a pantry for your food items, as well as a washing machine. Climb the stairs to reach the first floor, where you’ll find five bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Make yourself at home in the master bedroom with a king-size bed, an attention-grabbing feature fireplace and a peaceful window seat on the bay window which boasts views of the sea. The second bedroom also offers a king-size bed with two sash cord windows with sea views as well as a convenient Victorian-style basin, and a chair to relax on with a good book. Here you’ll find a single bed with a trundle single bed underneath it – this can be converted into a super-king-size on request.
Outside, there is space to relax in the front and back garden. The former is an enclosed, paved space with a bench. Step outside of the back door to find a stretch of lawn with a stone path leading to a delightful sheltered, three-sided barn with a dining table and chairs.
