The beach, shops and restaurants are all within 0.5 miles of your front door. For a scenic walk or cycle, head along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for 1.5 miles to reach the quiet and remote Monkstone Beach. The harbour town of Tenby (3.5) is worth the trip, perhaps to play a round of golf and have look around the shops. If you’re keen to discover some local history, make a beeline for the castles at Manorbier (8.5 miles) or Pembroke (11 miles).

In this semi-detached property, everything is on one floor. The living room has a large L-shaped sofa, a TV and an electric fire – a great space for relaxing together in the evenings. The kitchen is modern and inviting, with a breakfast bar and stools and a door leading outside. In the dining area, there’s a table and chair for six plus an attractive wall made from wooden blocks. French doors from here lead outside. There’s one king-size bedroom, with a TV, plus two doubles and a twin room. The twin room has three steps leading down to it and a door leading out to the garden, while one of the doubles leads out to a decked balcony area overlooking the garden – this room also has a TV. There’s also a good-sized shower room with a WC.

Head out the front of the property to reach a small lawned garden. At the back, there’s an enclosed garden with a lawn, a patio and a raised decked area – plenty of space for making the most of the fresh Welsh air.

Lovely property in a lovely location! The property was very roomy for 5 of us (adults) 10 minute walk into Saundersfoot, 15 minute drive to Tenby. Great secure garden for our dog, off street parking for two cars. Well equipped kitchen, nice big soft towels provided along with all the bedding Very nice stay will book again for sure :)

The property lacked coat hooks. No where to hang your coats. (There was ample space for this opposite the bathroom) No pegs or clothes airer(dont like tumble drying) No jugs in kitchen or spare blankets or pillows in bedrooms. Otherwise we had a comfortable stay. They are just small things that would have helped.

The only negatives for the property was that we would have benefit from an outside light at the back of the property to access the annex as it was very dark when you went outside and there was a step and you could not see very well . Also there was no blind in the back of the annex door and it made it very bright . We had to buy a fleece blanket toRead more put on the door to block out the light . The only complaint I have about the property is that we had to clean the shower trap in the main house shower as the shower tray was filling up when the shower was first used and we found it was blocked with someone elses hair . The property was great indoors, very happy with this and felt very comfortable. A number of mugs were chipped and the handles loose/partially broken and only one tea towel was provided for the whole week. These are minor things that could be easily sorted. The toilet seat in the en-suite was loose/broken and dangerous and was filthy with old urine Read morestains and pubic hairs. As its a dog friendly property the fact that the gardens were neglected made it hard to clear up after our pets, indeed there was still dog feaces in the garden from a previous occupant. Broken chairs and rubbish stored under the decking was an eyesore and big weeds growing in the drive was the first thing that greeted us leading to concern at how the interior may present. Dont wish to be too downbeat as the five nights were pleasant overall but so much more could be done re. the above. Hide

It's very expensive, though maybe everything is at the moment. That said, it was generally a lovely place to stay. It was comfortable, with plenty of space. The beds looked quite new - we didn't find the memoryfoam mattresses comfortable, but I know this is entirely personal preference and there was nothing wrong with them. There are quite a few otRead moreher little issues with it, though no major ones. The kitchen was lacking quite a few basics - no sieve, knives were barely usable, etc. The garden was ok but not really well maintained and there was a small pile of rubble which made it unsuitable for small children. Also, while everything was generally clean, some areas clearly hadn't been touched. There were cobwebs and spiders in the corners of most of the bedrooms. The decking hadn't been swept and there wasn't a broom available to do it ourselves. So while I would recommend it, there are some small improvements which would make a stay just that bit more comfortable. Hide
