Situated on the mouth of the River Dart, the vibrant harbour town of Dartmouth boasts a rich maritime heritage, offering historic houses and gardens to galleries and museums for you to explore. Renowned as a sailing port, explore the coastline from a watery angle aboard a fishing trip to grab the catch of the day or hire a boat from the harbour less than half a mile away for an epic family adventure. The South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also on your doorstep; take a stroll or hike around the rugged Dartmoor National Park 16 miles away to immerse yourself in the stunning rural Devonshire countryside.

An entrance hallway welcomes you into the property, leading into a spacious lounge, complete with plenty of comfy sofas perfectly positioned to enjoy the extensive views over the River Dart from the expanse of picture windows and sliding patio doors. Back through the property, you’ll find a large kitchen, kitted out with everything you may need to cater, complete with a small dining table set enjoying the stunning surrounding views from the large bay window. You’ll find more formal seating in the adjoining dining room. The lower ground floor comprises a handy utility room, a magnificent nautical-themed games room with a pool table, and a contemporary family shower room. Back up to the first floor of the property, you’re met with a delightful conservatory and a family bathroom. The wonderfully spacious king-size master bedroom boasts plenty of storage space and an en-suite bathroom. Off of the master bedroom, you’ll find a second lounge area with a 4ft double bed and panoramic views of the River Dart – this room can be used as another bedroom, but please note, there are no curtains. You’ll also find another king-size and 4ft double bedroom on this level, all enjoying the same simple yet sophisticated design as the rest of the property. The open stairwell leads you up to the second floor, boasting a large family room flooded with natural light from another expanse of floor-to-ceiling picture windows, complete with more comfy seating and a double bed. Partitioned from this room by a curtain, you’ll find the final twin bedroom (no window dressings) that features patio doors opening onto a wonderful rooftop garden balcony, offering some pretty shrubbery and fantastic panoramic sea views – please do not leave children unattended.

Through the patio doors in the ground-floor lounge, you’ll find a wonderful, decked area with views over the River Dart. From here, there is access to the well-maintained lawned garden which boasts winding paths and a pond, perfectly enclosed for peace of mind and privacy. From the garden, you also have access to a slipway and steps leading down to the river, ideal for exploring Dartmouth from its best watery angle. The  Pontoon is only accessible in summer months and in good weather conditions.

Please be aware that the property is accessed via a lift and there are approximately 18 steps from the car park to the lift. Due to the nature of the access to the property, we advise that this property is not suitable for small children and those with restricted mobility. Customers with mobility issues must inform us in advance of booking.
