The flat sands and calm waters are perfect for kite flying, kitesurfing, jet skiing and windsurfing. Close by is the neighbouring Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton (2 miles), where the cliffs are a great place for fossil hunting. For birdwatchers, the RSPB reserves at Titchwell (8 miles) and Snettisham (5 miles) are well worth a visit particularly in the autumn and winter months when many birds migrate to this part of Norfolk.
