This modernised two-storey cottage in a Devonshire coastal resort is excellent for a special seaside getaway with family or friends. The lively village of Woolacombe is home to a fabulous range of eateries and shops. Spend your holiday relaxing on the expansive golden sandy Woolacombe Beach (0.5 miles)– which is thought of by many as one of the best beaches in the UK and also offers great surf. Or venture straight out the door on a coastal hike to the craggy Morte Point (2.5 miles).

Climb 12 shallow steps with a handrail to reach the front door. Stepping into the entrance hall, you’ll be greeted by stylish slate flooring, a bench and a large bespoke coat and hat rack. Make yourself at home by taking off your shoes and jacket before continuing into the dining area. This minimalist space is tranquil and bright. Natural light dreams in through the large glass doors which open up onto the decked area. Sit with your guests at the eight-seated table and chairs while enjoying a home-cooked meal as you listen to some relaxing music on the Ultimate Ears portable Bluetooth speakers. Inside the living room, you’ll find two separate areas. One comfortable space with two large sofas, a footstool, Smart TV and a gentle coastal theme running throughout. The second area up two steps is a working space with a desk and a velvet sofa which sits beside the large window which boasts delightful sea and countryside views. Cook up a feast for your guests in the sparkling and bright galley kitchen. The glossy marble-effect surfaces provide plenty of space for chopping and preparing food – which can be cooked on the five-ring induction hob or double oven. In the mornings, wake up and make yourself a luxurious coffee using the Nespresso Krups machine and enjoy it on the breakfast bar. The snug offers an extra area for relaxing and unwinding with the patio doors open. The floor cushions and comfortable chairs are perfect for relaxing with a good book. There is also another Smart TV and an array of books and games to choose from. This property also benefits from a utility room, where there’s a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. You will find five bedrooms in this home-away-from-home – which sleeps up to a total of eight guests. The master bedroom is an impressive limed oak suite, with a super-king-size bed and a window which overlooks the front of the property. Wake up every morning to idyllic views of the beach, headland and countryside. This room also benefits from an en-suite with underfloor heating, a large walk-in shower and a WC. The second bedroom offers a limed oak king-size bed with a window with stunning sea views. Inside the third bedroom, you’ll find a single bed with views of the rear flowerbed terrace and patio. Also on this level is a family bathroom with underfloor heating, a large walk-in shower and WC. Climb the open tread stairs with handrails to reach the first-floor landing. Here you’ll find the final two en-suite bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is a twin room, which can be made into a super-king on request, with an en-suite shower room and WC. The other is a large room with a single bed with its own foyer and en-suite bathroom. This bathroom has a bath (with a handheld shower attachment) and WC.

Outside there is a large decked and paved terrace area which stretches across the entirety of the front of the house. Lay back on one of the sun loungers or gather with guests under the parasol around the outdoor table and chairs to dine alfresco with sea views. There is also a sea-facing lawn, from which you can climb up a set of steps through the landscaped terraced garden with pebbled flowerbeds and palm trees which are illuminated in the evening by lights to reach the patio area with a BBQ. Additionally, there’s a sheltered back patio with a bistro table and chairs and a pebbled courtyard off the utility room.

We arranged a family get together for our Christmas holiday including our two grandchildren. Thank you for putting up a Christmas tree and decorations. Wonderful property- cosy, plenty of space and very comfortable beds. Lots of rain and wind during our stay but still able to visit the beach daily, flying kites and playing games. Visited LyntoRead moren , Lynmouth and Watermeet beautiful walks. Final night a meal at Squires fish chip restaurant so worth booking a table. Awesome chips/ Fish. Reported the winds damaged the fencing at the cottage - good response and very supportive after reporting. Fantastic cottage and provided lovely atmosphere for Christmas 2023 - Will definitely look to book again. Hide

We had a wonderful holiday here, weather was perfect and home so well appointed, it was a treat. The views are simply tremendous and my Mum loved watching the sheep. It was great not having to get the car out all the time as Woolacombe has enough for us! Thank you

Fabulous property with absolutely everything you need. Wonderful views. Great sitting out area for 'Al Fresco' for meals and sun lounging. Lovely local walks and places to visit and handy for Woolacombe centre. We have thoroughly enjoyed this clean, spacious holiday home and all the little extras provided. You have thought of everything.

What a fabulous holiday we have had - the house is amazing & so thoughtfully presented & equipped - there is literally EVERYTHING needed to relax with the family. We found great walks & beaches & enjoyed the sun briefly. Great sea swims everyday... thank you to the owner for providing such a fantastic holiday house - we will defo book again!

Lovely house, very well equipped and in a great location. We visit Woolacombe a few times a year due to family in the area so would definitely return.
