Stepping outside, the Farmhouse’s stone patio spans the width of the house and extends on the same level onto a stunning, raised terrace deck, so the vast views are uninterrupted. There’s plenty of room for outdoor dining, with the large table and chairs provided. A garden room featuring a bar, offers an additional outdoor entertaining area with protection from wind rain and sun. Positioned between the terrace and garden room is the hot tub, where you can enjoy a glass of wine, or your favourite cocktail!
A large and secluded private garden stretches out beyond the terrace and hot tub. The garden is enclosed with lawns and flower beds. A natural wooded area borders a stream that is protected by a hedge and fencing.
Lying on the edge of Forest of Bowland, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Davis Gate Farmhouse is an ideal base for exploring the whole of the Ribble Valley and the forest. Enjoy the beautiful walks or bike rides through green fells and ancient woodland, which lie just steps away from the cottage, passing through surrounding open farmland and quiet lanes. A variety of cycle routes are also within easy reach.
