Swansea is packed with things to do and see, from its waterpark, marina and National Waterfront Museum to its castle, gardens and twisting medieval streets. Beautiful beaches abound, at Langland Bay (1.5 miles), Caswell Bay (2.5 miles), Port Eynon (15 miles), Broughton Bay and Rhossili Bay (both 17 miles).
Access to this property is via a flight of stairs. Inside the cottage, you’ll find a sumptuous interior, full of intimate and convivial spaces that will make your stay memorable. Make yourselves at home in the reception area, with its quiet reading space. The lounge has a bay window overlooking Swansea Bay, a TV, two lovely leather sofas and two armchairs by the wood burner. The bright kitchen has a skylight, breakfast bar and suspended lighting. Up to eight people can sit at the large oak table in the dining room, with a long, built-in bench behind. There’s a first-floor bunk bedroom with a single bed above a double – the top bunk is accessed via six tall steps with a handrail. The first-floor bathroom has a shower over the bath. The second floor has the three remaining bedrooms: a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, another super-king-size and finally a twin, all with views across Swansea Bay. Up two steps, the second-floor bathroom has a vaulted ceiling, a spacious shower cubicle and a free-standing bath beside a large frosted window.
Up two steps from the second floor, there’s a magnificent rooftop decked area, with glass balustrades, garden furniture and astounding panoramic views over Swansea Bay, with glimpses of Mumbles Lifeboat Station in the distance.
