This generously spaced, detached bungalow with a two-floor annexe is a great base for groups or families who want to relax together at home, whilst making outdoor memories on the North Devon Coast. The stylish property is located in Croyde, less than half a mile from the charming village where you’ll find thatched cottages, traditional pubs, ice cream parlours and cafes serving Devon cream teas. There are plenty of outdoor pursuits for you to try together including surfing lessons - or just hitting the waves solo if you’re already a pro - on the picturesque local beach (0.5 miles). Stick around for beautiful sunsets. Some of North Devon’s other most popular beaches are within driving distance including Putsborough (1.5 miles) and Blue Flag-awarded Woolacombe Beach (5 miles) where you can try windsurfing and stand-up paddleboarding. Fancy some scenic walks? Ramble along the South West Coast Path to National Trust headland, Baggy Point (3 miles).

Leave sandy shoes and coats in the porch and enter into the large, open-plan, ground-floor living space that’s the perfect socialising area to make memories together. Meals can be made in the modern, spacious kitchen while other guests relax on the bar stools by the centre island; then you can all dine together at the big table that seats eight across its chairs and bench. Best of all, it runs alongside wall-length patio doors that look over the green garden, all the way to the sea. There’s more relaxation space in the form of the comfy living room where you can lounge on the two sofas with the TV on and the wood burner crackling. Oak flooring and geometric pattern accessories make the area stylish. This ground floor features a double bedroom, a room with bunk beds and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a luxurious freestanding bath with a waterfall tap. The king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room boasts patio doors so you’ll have direct access to the outdoor living space plus garden views and glimpses of the sea. An interconnecting door leads from the lounge through to the annexe where there’s a homely king-size bedroom in the attic. Down the stairs, you’ll find further places to relax in the open-plan space. The kitchenette is a nice place to cook in a more peaceful setting and there’s a breakfast bar with stools and a small table for two to eat at. Relish quieter moments in the small lounge with a sofa, TV and some quirky, seaside-themed furnishings. Patio doors beside the sofa lead to the small, private patio. This floor also boasts a shower room with a double walk-in shower. The annexe is the perfect place for extended family to relax away from the main hubbub of the house.

Outside, relax alfresco all together in the generous private outdoor spaces including the raised decked area - accessed via the doors beside the main dining room - with its long, cushioned sofa perfect for group relaxation. Beyond, there’s a spacious, fenced garden with lawn, shrubs and a BBQ so you can make the most of good weather with outdoor dining. There’s even an outdoor shower that comes in handy after beach days. Just off the downstairs annexe lounge, there’s a small, sheltered, paved area with corner seating for more private moments.
