Groups, big families or even two families holidaying together can book these two neighbouring cottages which are interlinked and have excellent, spacious spots for all 10 guests to make memories together - inside and outside the properties. Explore the area all together, whether you’re going for meals or cream teas in charming Braunton’s restaurants and cafes; or discovering the North Devon Coast at beaches like Saunton Sands (3 miles by car, 4 miles on foot), Croyde Beach (5.5 miles by car, 4.5 miles on foot) and Blue Flag-awarded Woolacombe Beach (7.5 miles by car, 5.5 miles on foot). All offer great surfing opportunities, including lessons, so you can have fun in the sea. Bring along your bikes or hire some in town to enjoy a group cycling expedition along the Tarka Trail (which is also fun to walk) passing through Braunton, the Taw Estuary and more scenic countryside.

These two cottages - interlinked by a doorway between the second bedrooms - each boast their own living facilities and spaces, and even front doors, so you don’t have to live in each others’ pockets whilst remaining next door. On the right, you’ll find the first of the two cottages. The homely living room features sofas and a 43-inch TV while the well-equipped kitchen has a window-side breakfast bar with stools and a Dulce Gusto coffee machine to get mornings started off well. Your entire group can enjoy the large, rustic dining room which has a dining table to seat all 10 of you and double patio doors leading to the private, outdoor space for excellent social evenings. There’s a handy WC on this ground floor. Upstairs in this cottage, there is a king-size bedroom with big windows, a twin bedroom with a pull-out trundle bed for another guest and a bathroom boasting a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The left-hand property is the second cottage where you’ll enter a ground-floor living room that’s packed with home comforts like a sofa, armchair, wood burner (for decorative purposes only), coffee tables and a TV. A four-seater dining table is pleasantly positioned by the tall, narrow window - a lovely place to tuck into meals home cooked in the ground-floor kitchen, which also boasts a decorative wood burner. Its stone walls add a unique twist. Head upstairs to find two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a bathroom boasting a double sun drench shower.

Big groups can enjoy the generous outdoor space together, starting with the walled, paved patio that’s accessed via steps from the first cottage’s dining room. The table and chairs here will sit just four but the lawn garden, which dogs should enjoy, has a large picnic table. Fire up the big, charcoal BBQ for excellent evenings of al fresco dining. Indulge in more private, peaceful time outdoors in the second cottage’s small, paved patio area with a table and chairs. A garden gate from the big lawn leads to the parking area.
