This modern home is perfect for a big group of family or friends to get together on the Suffolk coast. Set at the end of a quiet no-through road, the home is just 700 metres from the famous pebble beach at Aldeburgh. Here, local fishermen still land their colourful fishing boats and sell their catch from the beach huts. The characterful Aldeburgh High Street is less than half a mile away with its interesting range of shops, galleries and cafes. There is also a lively restaurant scene in the town and several welcoming pubs. The town is a real cultural hub having been the home of Benjamin Britton for many years, during which time he founded the annual Aldeburgh Festival. Surrounding the village is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so it’s a great location for bird watchers and walking enthusiasts. The estuary, marshes and shingle banks are home to a wide variety of wildlife and there are sailing and yacht clubs at nearby Slaughden, 1 mile away. The Suffolk Heritage Coast stretches off in both directions with plenty of lovely sandy beaches to enjoy, including the postcard-perfect village of Walberswick, 15 miles away.

The contemporary holiday home has ramp access and spacious open-plan social spaces all on one level. This is a wonderfully welcoming area with different areas to spend time in. The well-equipped kitchen is a joy to work in and the adjacent dining area features a large wooden table where the whole group can gather for meals. To the other side of the space is a generous lounge with plenty of comfortable sofas and easy chairs to accommodate everyone. Also on the ground floor level are three of the bedrooms. These are two double bedrooms and a room with a zip-and-link bed that can either be configured as a king-size bed or two small single beds suitable for children. The large family bathroom features a stylish roll-top bath with a shower attachment. Also on the ground floor are a utility room and a useful separate WC that is also accessible from the garden. Upstairs, guests will find an impressive master bedroom with a Juliet balcony and large glass doors overlooking the garden and countryside. This king-size room also features a pair of easy chairs for admiring the views and an en-suite shower room. There is a further king-size bedroom with ample space and an en-suite shower room.

The large private gardens overlook the surrounding fields and offer a tranquil haven the whole group can relax in and enjoy. Large lawns stretch away from the house and are fully enclosed by wooden fences and trees. Immediately outside the home is a sunny patio equipped with a large dining table comfortably seating ten. This is the place to gather and enjoy relaxed meals together in the sunshine.

This lovely house is in a quiet spot very near to the beach and a pleasant walk into the town. There is plenty of space for a large group of family and friends. The wifi links are excellent.

A lovely big house which was ideal for a family gathering of multi generations. Plenty of off road parking which was very useful. A pleasant walk through the adjacent mobile home park to the beach and on the footpath walk to Thorpeness. The horses in the field were a big attraction for the children.

Very good location a short walk from the beach and within easy walking distance to Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. The house is of a very high standard and well furnished with a great kitchen. Excellent for a family or group of friends.
