It is a perfect retreat for a sociable and relaxing holiday for a large family or group of friends, a short drive from the Norfolk coast and amenities. Thornham itself is a picturesque village with a wide, sandy beach and small harbour, both part of a local nature reserve. The seaside town of Hunstanton (5 miles) is well worth a visit and is famous for its sandy beach and many attractions for children. The Coast Hopper bus takes you to Wells (13 miles) and the pretty Norfolk village of Burnham Market (7 miles), famous for its boutiques – a perfect opportunity to leave the car behind and enjoy the scenery.

This is an impressive house that invites you to relax with its lavish furnishings. On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms: one super-king-size room with en-suite shower room and TV, and two king-size rooms, one with a TV. A shower room and garden room/conservatory complete this level. On the first floor, there are two tastefully furnished lounge areas to unwind in and a kitchen with all the necessary amenities. The second floor features two bedrooms, a twin with a TV and a super-king-size with TV. There is also a second bathroom.

A large, fully enclosed lawned garden with a patio, garden furniture and BBQ makes for an ideal entertaining space in good weather.

Admirals Lodge is a beautiful property ideally located for a holiday exploring the North Norfolk coast. The house is appointed and presented extremely well, tucked nicely away in beautiful Thornham and has a wealth of fine Norfolk pubs and restaurants just a stroll away. Coastal walks and abundant wildlife right from the doorstep. Our 14th family CRead morehristmas get together in North Norfolk and probably the best one yet. Would love to go back and do it all again. The house and location were good and as we expected. We were disappointed with the beds, at a high end property such as this we would expect a memory foam mattress or equivalent these days. I am sure you will agree that it is very important to get a good nights sleep. The kitchen equipment was a little sketchy, no large salad bowls or serving plateRead mores were available. Also the cooker had an oven door that did not fully close. I hope these comments will help you to improve the property for other renters. Hide

The property itself and location we're more than happy with. The general cleanliness satisfactory, but the kitchen needs more attention to it when being cleaned. i.e Food scraps and bits in drawers and cupboards and the sinked had to be scrubbed before use.

Beds werent very comfortable, needed instructions for the complicated oven, boiler disturbed person in bedroom next door, heating hadnt been checked after clocks changed.
