This collection of three spacious cottages is ideal for a big get-together on the beautiful island of Anglesey. Set in a peaceful location not far from the coast, the cottages make a great base from which to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. There are several lovely beaches within around 5 miles, including the long sandy bay at Maltraeth as well as the stunning Llanddwyn and Rhosneigr beaches. For day trips the Angelsey Sea Zoo is 9 miles away and the impressive Beaumaris Castle is 16.5 miles away. The whole of the Anglesey coastline offers opportunities for some outstanding walking. Visitors might also like to head to the island of Holyhead connected to the mainland by a causeway 19 miles away. The coastline here is particularly dramatic with the south stack lighthouse and cliffs offering the chance to see puffins and many other seabirds.

The cottages have all been tastefully designed with open-plan living areas and large windows letting in plenty of natural light. Many of the rooms offer fantastic views of Snowdonia and the ocean and all are spacious and comfortable.

Cottage 1 sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. This is the largest cottage of the three and has two separate lounge areas. On the ground floor is a contemporary open-plan living space with a stylish kitchen and a long wooden dining table to seat ten. The comfortable lounge area has bi-fold doors leading to the patio. Also on the ground floor are two super-king bedrooms (these can be configured as twin rooms upon request) and a large wet room with disabled access. Upstairs guests will find the second lounge set with sofas and a Juliette balcony offering lovely views. There are two additional super-king bedrooms upstairs (again these can be configured as twin rooms upon request). Both feature Juliette balconies with countryside views and modern en-suite shower rooms.

Cottage 2 sleeps six in three bedrooms. This cottage has a fabulous open-plan living area with a sleek kitchen, welcoming dining area and comfortable lounge. Patio doors lead out to the garden and offer beautiful views. Also on the ground floor are a king-size bedroom (can be configured as a twin) and a Jack and Gill en-suite shower room. Upstairs guests will find two more bedrooms, both with Juliette balconies and countryside views. The first is a spacious super-king that links to a small cot room making it ideal for families. The second is a super-king (can be configured as a twin). Both rooms share the use of the family bathroom which features a separate bath, walk-in shower and a heated towel rail.

Cottage 3 sleeps four in two bedrooms. This cottage is configured as an upside-down house with the living area on the first floor and the bedrooms downstairs. Upstairs is a beautiful open-plan loft-style living area flooded with natural light. This sociable space incorporates a compact kitchen and dining area and a sofa and easy chairs gathered around a coffee table. Downstairs there are two king-size bedrooms (can be configured as twins), both with modern en-suite shower rooms.

Outside all three cottages benefit from a shared central courtyard set with covered tables and bench seating. This makes an excellent space to gather and enjoy meals and drinks alfresco. Just beyond this are a large lawn and a leafy garden set with a table and chairs. In addition, the two larger cottages both have private patios with countryside and sea views.

Excellent facilities and very clean & tidy cottages. The owner was there to greet us and was very helpful and friendly. We hope to return again.
