This wild headland is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and visitors may be lucky enough to see kestrels or spot seals basking in the secluded coves. Woolacombe Beach has 3 miles of golden sands and a range of on-the-water activities including surfing, sea kayaking, windsurfing and stand-up paddleboarding. Families can swim with confidence here, knowing the beach is patrolled by lifeguards. The village centre has a good range of restaurants and cafes.
A large entrance hall leads to the dining room and then through to the kitchen with its range of sleek, modern units and breakfast bar which is ideally placed to take in the stunning sea views. The utility area houses the washing machine and dishwasher. There are three ground-floor bedrooms: bedroom 1 is a double, bedroom 2 is a super king which can be made into a twin on request, and bedroom 3 is a super king with a wooden floor and wonderful countryside views. There’s a shower room and a family bathroom, both with WCs. The lounge has several sofas and a wood burner for cooler evenings. Upstairs, the landing with its stained-glass window illuminates your journey to the first floor. A family bathroom with WC is at the top of the stairs and a further two bedrooms, one twin and one super king follow, both spacious with wooden floors and country views. The snug room with breathtaking sea views and a cosy two-seater sofa offers couples a romantic break from the rest of the party.
Outside, the stunning garden has steep lawns and several terraced patio areas, so young children should be supervised.
