This expansive home, less than a mile from two of the Gower’s best beaches, has space for eight guests to enjoy a holiday together. With sleeping accommodation spread out across four double bedrooms, it is a great property for large families or a big group of friends. You’ll love how close the house is to the village of Newton, on the outskirts of Swansea, with its plethora of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The bustling village of Mumbles – with its many boutiques, restaurants/cafes and pubs – is just a mile away. This is also an ideal location for accessing the wonderful scenery, beaches, coastal path, activities and attractions that are available on the Gower Peninsula. The house is also perfect for avid golfers as it is on the border of a golf club.

Inside, the accommodation is arranged over two floors. The ground floor has two reception rooms; one has a TV and DVD player, while the other has more seating and patio doors to the front garden. The dining area is off one of the reception rooms with a large round table with extendable seating for eight people. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of work surfaces and appliances to help rustle up delicious meals. There’s an extra utility room to keep laundry out of the way. The ground floor is also home to a bedroom, with a super-king-size bed which can be converted into two single beds, as well as the family bathroom. Up on the first floor, there’s a galleried seating area with two large sofas on which to relax. The rest of the bedrooms are up on this floor too – all with super-king-size beds which can be converted to twins if requested. Two rooms have an en-suite with a shower over the bath and a WC, while the final en-suite is a shower room only with a WC.

Outside, there is both a front and rear garden. The rear garden has patio furniture perfect for al fresco dining in good weather.

The house was just so right for our family (three generations, 10 to 79 in age). It is really spacious with fine quality, comfortable furniture. Such spaciousness is great when there is such an age range! The cleaners had prepared it really well. It is down a narrow lane but all drivers we came across were very aware of this. For anyone preferrRead moreing taxis to nearby places Yellow Cabs proved a good find, with friendly drivers usually able also to tell us about famous people associated with the area. We had one restaurant meal, at the Brasserie ,a nd all of us liked both the food and the friendly service. Hide

The cottage was perfect for our multi- generational requirements and we very much enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect as regards access to nearby beaches and Mumbles but the narrow access road with its blind exit on to the main road was a little concerning at times.

A lovely house overall. The cleaning team were exceptional. Very spacious & ideal for a family group of three generations. Just a few niggly problems which we have highlighted above & directly contacted Holiday Cottages about.

The cottage is airy and spacious and well situated within walking distance of 2 beaches although the return is quite a steep climb so not suitable for everyone. There are car parks at the beaches though. There are lots of places to visit within reasonable distance. We did not have good weather but still found things to do. The flexibility of being Read moreable to have the beds made up as singles or doubles means it works well for different family groups and there is plenty of space in all the bedrooms. The television is in a separate lounge so individuals can watch if they want whilst others talk or play games. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment. Hide

A beautiful house that proved a perfect spot for our extended family Easter break. The short walk to Langland Bay Golf Course- and then on to the coastal path was an unknown joy. Proximity to Caswell Bay and the Mumbles make this a perfect spot.

The cottage has everything we needed for a lovely family week away. The access is tight by car as is getting in to drive. Good walking access to Mumbles and Langland. There is currently building works in progress in neighbouring property which made it quite noisy in the daytime.
