This house is on the Gower Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, home to beaches regularly voted as some of the best in Wales and Britain. It's a popular spot for hiking, surfing, rock climbing and wildlife watching. The cottage sits 100 metres from the stunning stretch of Horton Beach, which you can walk along to reach neighbouring Port Eynon. There you’ll find cafes, pubs, gift shops and restaurants. And if you fancy some more urban excitement, the city of Swansea, with all its shops, bars and entertainment, is just 15 miles away.

Finished to a high standard and offering plenty of space for a party of eight people, this cottage is a welcoming setting for a staycation. The ground floor comprises a large lounge with oversized sofas, an electric fire and TV, and a smaller snug lounge – perfect if the adults and children want to hang out separately in the evenings. The eight-person dining table sits in the conservatory so you can enjoy meals with garden views. And preparing them is a breeze in the vast and well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs, you’ll find four comfortable and generously proportioned bedrooms – two king-size and two twins – all with high-quality wooden beds and furniture. The main bedroom features an en-suite shower room, while the other three share a bathroom with a double-ended bath and separate shower cubicle. A ground-floor cloakroom with WC completes the house.

Location is great. Very clean and comfortable well equipped cottage. Our fourth visit so the owners are clearly getting it right.

Have previously stayed at Witsend in 2021 and pleased by the updates to equipment, and in particular the enlargement of the parking area. A few more things are still needed, mirror in main bathroom, reinstate the ceiling lighting in the conservatory and a clock would be useful. This was the 2nd week of our fortnight's stay - had made separate bookiRead morengs in order to have linen changed and interim clean. We found the cleaning contractors to be super helpful and responsive. Hide

Lovely spacious, clean and comfortable property in a fabulous location, short walking distance to the sea with shops and places to eat nearby. We could comfortably accommodate four large cars on the recently modified driveway.

The house is in a great location five minutes walk from the beach. It has a large well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and cutlery and lots of space for food. The two freezers and a second fridge were very useful for a large family. The beds were quite comfy with nice linen and duvets. This property is comfortable but we felt lacked small homely touches like a large mirror in the bathroom, bins in the bedrooms etc. We would describe it as adequate, no welcoming pint of milk or other small details. Wifi fell in and out while my son was trying to work.
