There are many family-friendly attractions nearby, including Bicton Gardens (13 miles), Crealy Adventure Park (16 miles), and the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary (5.5 miles). Alternatively, just wander through the village to the Jubilee Gardens and enjoy an al-fresco lunch in what the BBC’s Countryfile recently named the UK’s Top Picnic Spot.
