This beautifully restored property was once a stable block and forms part of a larger complex of 17 renovated barns and cottages. Located in tranquil countryside, the cottage is just 5 miles from Bamburgh, with its magnificent Grade I-listed castle, wide sandy beach and a wide choice of independent eateries and shops. Northumberland National Park and the tidal, Holy Island are 11 and 15 miles away respectively. The golden sands, dunes and wildlife of Budle Bay are just 1.5 miles away.
Stylishly decorated and furnished throughout, the ground floor of the cottage features a uniquely-decorated living area that’s centred around a wood burner. Settle on one of the comfortable sofas and unwind with a film on the TV in the warmth of the fire, or gather around the dining table which seats all eight guests. The contemporary kitchen is a few steps up and includes a door out into the paddock. For extra-special meals, pull up a chair at the large dining table in the spacious conservatory, and dine with a backdrop of rolling hills and fields. A few steps down leads to four bedrooms, a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, two twin bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill shower room, and an additional twin bedroom. There is also a stylish family bathroom.
Outside the property, guests are spoiled for choice with a patio and BBQ, plus access to a shared courtyard equipped with garden furniture, a large paddock providing space for children and pets (and adults too!) to burn off some energy, a fully-equipped gym, a tennis court and a hot tub. Guests also have access to the ‘Gathering Space’ a large, renovated farm building, with space for up to 24 guests to gather and share a communal meal or play table tennis or a game on the Wii.
