On stepping into the elegant main residence, the first room you’ll come to is the main sitting room. This soothing space with cushy seating is the heart of the main cottage, hosting a widescreen TV, Freeview, and DVD player. For a quieter set-up great for smaller groups and kids, head to the second sitting area – a snug with a TV and wood burner for toasty, atmospheric evenings. When it comes to cooking, you’re provided with an electric range cooker, electric hob, microwave, two fridges, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and a table where you can perch for your morning coffee and bowl of cereal. A further freezer, fridge and storage can be found in the utility room. An elegant dining room with a table seating 14 ensures you can get the entire group together for a big meal and a catch-up towards the end of your holiday. Choose from four bedrooms in the main house. The ground-floor twin room boasts French doors opening straight onto the garden – this bedroom is a truly special one for whoever picks it out, and there’s a ground-floor shower room too with WC. Upstairs on the first floor, there’s a super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC, a double room and twin room, and a family bathroom with a wonderful, free-standing clawfoot bath, shower cubicle and WC.
Outside the main house there’s an enclosed, private garden with a mix of lawn and patio where you can sit out and fire up the charcoal BBQ. A play area with a slide and double swing is a delightful place for children, and there’s a badminton net with rackets to enjoy as well. Off-road parking is provided for up to four cars.
The Old Coach House is set just next door and provides the perfect secluded space for a family or separate group of friends to cook, eat, sleep and relax between big group get-togethers. It boasts its own sitting room with a wood burner, TV/DVD and seating where your gang can stretch out and unwind together. A delightful kitchen/diner, complete with an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, table and chairs, provides a place to cook up quick dishes or sit and share a drink. And you can put your clothes in for a quick spin after busy days out with the washer/dryer in the utility room. Two delightful double bedrooms offer restful places to lay your head, one of which has its own en-suite shower room. For younger guests, there’s a third bedroom with children's 2’6” twin beds, and finally, a family bathroom provides a shared place for any member of the group to wash up each morning or before bed.
The Old Coach House’s garden is enclosed with a patio area, BBQ and table with a parasol so you can sit in the shade on sunny days. A driveway provides parking up to three cars.
