This stately detached property sleeps 12 guests, making it the perfect venue for family gatherings, group holidays and special occasions. It’s located less than a mile from Abersoch, a popular seaside village with fine sandy beaches, a sailing/water sports centre and an abundance of great shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Abersoch is on the south-east corner of the Llyn Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasting a variety of beaches as well as hills, countryside and coastal paths, including an ancient pilgrim’s route.

A long sweeping drive lies at the entrance to the estate and takes you past paddocks, fields and outbuildings. A welcoming and bright entrance hall features a slate floor and opens onto a reception room with an ornately carved staircase and a convenient cloakroom with quirky wallpaper and slate flooring. The stylish kitchen includes granite worktops and dual-aspect windows with countryside views. There’s plenty of space for socialising: from the hallway, a curved step leads into the lounge, which features original ceiling beams, a grand feature fireplace with a gas fire and three comfortable sofas (one of which can be used as a sofa bed). Two sets of French doors lead onto a wrap-around stone patio. An additional living room also has original beams, a wood burner, a well-stocked bookcase and countryside views. To the rear, find a bright and spacious orangery with a dining table and chairs as well as a rattan sofa and two coordinating armchairs, and lovely views over the patio and terraced gardens. Take the staircase up to a gallery with picture windows looking over the back garden. Here, you will find the five bedrooms – a king-size with an additional single or double sofa bed available on request; a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower; two further king-size bedrooms and a family bedroom with a bunk bed and a king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made into a twin on request. One family bathroom has a bath and another a shower over a bath.

A rear stone patio is furnished with a rattan sofa and chairs, outdoor dining table and chairs, a BBQ and a luxury hot tub, all surrounded by stone walls and terraced lawns. The games barn has a full-size table tennis table, pool table and large comfortable sofa.

We had a fabulous holiday at Pant Yr Hwch, everything we expected & more, the dogs loved it too ??

Some of the rooms needed a good clean. The lounge in particular smelt of animals with dog hair on the floors, carpets and settee. Only cleaned where the hoover would reach easily. Many cobwebs in rooms and cupboards. 2 sink plugs did not work so could not be used for shaving. Ensuite bathroom door would not close. The property was wonderful is an idyllic location. They was everything you would need to host a large family holiday, including plenty of extra cutlery and crockery etc in a well stocked kitchen. Wendy the host was easy to converse with via text prior to our visit. The only I can see for improvement would be to make the information pack at the prRead moreoperty more welcoming as opposed to a list of do's and don'ts. Apart from that we had a wonderful stay and Wendy has an amazing property. Hide
