Nestled in the heart of the Northumberland coastline near the quaint seaside village of Seahouses, this spacious property would be ideal for a large group. At Bamburgh, 3 miles to the north, and Dunstanburgh, 10 miles to the south, there are fascinating castles to visit, and there are sandy beaches galore, starting with Seahouses beach (1 mile) and spreading out up and down the coast. At Berwick-upon-Tweed to the north (22 miles) you can have a day out enjoying retail therapy, plenty of cafes and eateries, and an invigorating walk on the Elizabethan defence walls, or catch a performance at the Maltings. Golf enthusiasts are spoilt for choice, with approximately eight scenic courses in a 20-mile radius. You could also take advantage of the discount afforded to visitors at this property by booking a boat trip to the Farne Islands. These islands are steeped in history of hermit monks and rich in local wildlife, including dolphins and puffins.

This property really has the wow factor. The living space, comprising kitchen, dining and lounge areas, is open-plan and tastefully decorated with neutral, warm tones; exposed beams added to the mix create a blend of traditional, rustic and contemporary elements. There are large glazed doors and windows allowing natural light to flood in through the open-plan areas, and beautiful views to enjoy. The kitchen/diner is spacious and has a central island, perfect for whipping up a delicious meal for the whole group and then transferring straight to the dining table with ease. Between the lounge and kitchen/diner sits an eye-catching ornamental fireplace, which has been knocked through to form a small arch. The lounge features comfy seating and a TV. There is a separate utility room with extra appliances and good space for boots. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also on ground level, split over two wings: two bedrooms are in the west wing; one of them has a stylish en-suite shower room, while the other has en-suite access to the Jack and Jill family bathroom. In the south wing are two more bedrooms, one with an elegant en-suite shower room. The bedrooms are comfortable and un-crowded. They are usually arranged as three super-king-size and one twin, but if you’d like a different configuration, please state this at the time of booking.

The gardens are enclosed and include sloping lawns, as well as pretty coastal rock-lined beds. The views are stunning from this vantage point and there’s plenty of furniture for everyone to sit and enjoy them.

Amazing place, gorgeous house, beautiful views. We stayed as a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) and we all couldn't have been happy with the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and absolutely stunning. Only problem we had was that we didn't want to leave!

Amazing house - a luxury holiday home! The layout was perfect for our family plus grandparents. The standard of the accommodation was high, and very comfortable, the location worked well for us visiting where we wanted to go. We will be looking to come back another time.

Excellent location, very clean and tidy, kids loved it and enjoyed watching the animals. We all enjoyed the views toward the Farne Islands and the peace and quiet.
