With upstairs living, large picture windows and a scenic balcony, this four-bedroom property is the perfect place to get together as a group on the beautiful shores between Anglesey and Holy Island. Four Mile Bridge is a village spanning both sides of the Cymyran Strait in Wales, connecting Holy Island with Anglesey. Jump onto the Wales Coast Path less than 0.5 miles away to explore the breathtaking scenery on foot before taking the plunge into the lagoon, a few steps away from the doorstep for a crisp swim, fish, sail or paddleboard adventure. Discover the large, sloping sandy stretch of Trearddur Bay beach 2 miles away, with plenty of rock pools to dip in and out of. The long promenade towards the Lifeboat Station behind the beach is the best angle for you to truly admire the stunning coastal views of the area.

A large entrance hallway welcomes you into the reverse-level property and leads to a spacious king-size bedroom with contemporary decor and a TV. There are a further two bedrooms on this level, another king-size and twin bedroom, both with the same elegant decor as the first. Further through the ground floor, you’ll also find a handy utility room and a large stylish bathroom. Upstairs, you’re met with a light and bright open-plan kitchen/diner, well-equipped with everything you may need to cater, as well as an island breakfast bar with stools. The adjoining dining room is complete with a large wooden table and chairs, a comfortable sofa and large picture windows framing the panoramic coastal view. Leading through to the living room, you’ll find a large comfortable sofa wrapping around a modern electric fireplace and TV, flooded by natural light from the floor-to-ceiling patio doors out to the balcony. Back through the upstairs, you’re met with a final king-size bedroom benefiting from a TV and en-suite shower room.

Wrapping around the upstairs of the property, a large, decked balcony with a glass balustrade awaits for dining alfresco against the backdrop of the panoramic coastal views. Set within its own enclosed grounds, the property also features a large lawned area at the rear, down a couple of steps, which overlooks an open field out to the Inland Sea beyond, providing the perfect private spot for garden games and get-togethers.

A large, well equipped property with open, far reaching views. Plenty of space to relax and dine. A good base to explore the island. Our only issue was the owners never got back to us with the WiFi problem we immediately reported (incorrect password provided), despite promising to do so.

After a very hot day's travell we arrived at Ger Y Bont and our first 24 hours were with no hot water for showering, washing or anything at all as the oil tank was empty. We had two lots of "boiler engineers" come to "check" the boiler, I showed them the fault number on the boiler controls upstairs which the second boiler man recognised as "NRead moreO OIL" (this took two phone calls to the owner in total). The property owner did then order an urgent oil delivery which arrived later the next morning. We found many of the photos on the website to be misleading, the tide only matched photo number 5/39 or 7/39 on the website every 28 days when the moon was full.. The garden is not enclosed; (as stated on the website) there were paved pathways both sides of the house leading to the unfenced front driveway. On arrival we found crockery, glasses etc dirty and chipped, the kitchen knives were blunt although after a phone call Gareth replaced three of the small ones. The faulty light above the cooker wasn't replaced during our stay and one of the knobs on the cooker was not attached so we couldnt us that hob. The broken chair on the balcony, which had been put aside, possibly by the previous visitors , was replaced and the number of chairs was increased to eight.after a phone call. We couldn't sit on the balcony and watch the water as it was the wrong time of day but we did find the planes enjoyable to watch, after 8 a.m. and before 5 p.m. Several of the windows were locked shut with no key available and others were stiff to open/close: some doors were misaligned so didn't close properly. The twin room had two beds, two small tables and a hanging wardrobe, there were no drawers, cupboards or chair. I was also concerned with the trailing socket by one of the beds. The en-suite shower in one of the bedrooms seemed unfinished with no towel rail or hooks to place your shower gel etc.and the soap holder was broken. We noted several trip hazards (broken paving etc) around the property and the washing basket was broken. Gareth responded to some of our requests in a timely manner for example, after a phone call in the evening Gareth replaced the knives with.some sharp ones the next morning, also replacment chairs for the balcony. We found the property light and spacioius for the four of us and it was in a good location for travel to other places in Angelsey and beyond, it was nice to sit on the balcony (after the chairs were replaced) and look over the field: overall we enjoyed our break. I have had no word/email etc from Garreth after he asked us to note any issues as we left! Hide

Not only did we have fantastic weather we also had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful house. Situated perfectly to visit local attractions and those a little further away. The house had everything we needed for our one weeks stay over Christmas. Upside down layout worked well with fantastic views over the countryside. The bedrooms, bathrRead moreooms, kitchen and living rooms were spotlessly clean, it would be very difficult to criticise anything. Hide

Fabulous house in a great location. My family loved it, and we will return next year, if possible. The beaches on the island are beautiful and I actually swam in the sea (in the UK) for the first time in 50 years. I would definitely recommend this property.

Ger Y Bont was a brilliant base for our week in Anglesey. The house was spacious with plenty of seating, good quality furnishings, very well equipped kitchen. We loved the views from the back and it was great watching the planes flying across from RAF Valley. In just a minute or twos walk you get to the water at the bridge which is good if you wantRead more to kayak or paddle board. Otherwise just a short drive gets you to the local beaches. We loved Trearddur Bay and our top tip is to go to South Stack Lighthouse for stunning views of the sunset. Hide

We were very satisfied. 2 small points. The pictures on the website are misleading regarding the proximity to the straits. No view at all from the balcony and only distant glimpse from bedroom at front. Road noise is a bit disruptive to sleeping.

Wonderful property , we spent 4 nights with party of 8 including 3 children ( ages 6 & 8) . The property layout works well with 3 double bed rooms all great size with loads of storage , a large bathroom with separate shower & large bath . The bootroom/utility was a huge bonus . The first floor has the main living space , kitchen / dining rooRead morem which all have fantastic views. The dining room & lounge exit onto a good size balcony which has table & chairs . Also on the 1st floor is a master bedroom with ensuite and separate wc . The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could think of. Rooms were very generous in size and attention to detail was great, clean and fresh well worth the money. Location of the property is great for travelling round the island. Everyone who holidayed loved the property and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Have already recommended to family. Hide

Lovely comfortable well equipped house in a nice location. Stairs to upper floor might be a small negative for someone holidaying with an elderly person or small child as they are steep.

The house is spacious and comfortable-it was nice to relax on the balcony with a drink.......although, we did feel attention to detail was lacking in some areas! The location of the property is perfect for exploring the island- the weather was amazing for September-we had a pleasant week.
