This modern townhouse has been designed with form and function in mind, not only is the style of the property simply sensational but the location too, less than 400 metres from the beach. Less than 0.5 miles from the property is the centre of Southwold, a wonderfully British seaside town located on the beautiful Suffolk coastline. The colourful beach huts and imposing lighthouse make this location a popular tourist spot for visitors. Keen walkers and cyclists will have plenty to explore with many paths and trails dotted around the county. This area of Suffolk is super pretty and you’ll always find something new to discover. The historic fishing town is the perfect place for you to enjoy fresh seafood on the harbour. If that doesn’t tantalise your tastebuds then there are a number of alternative restaurants to try as well as several dog-friendly pubs. Adnams Brewery and Distillery is a fun place to visit, here you can take a tour and learn how your favourite tipples are made. You can even try a gin making workshop, where you can learn everything about the process and make your own bottle of craft gin that you can take back to the property and enjoy. With a bustling pier and charming beach located so close to the property, as well as marshland footpaths that lead through gorgeous terrain, you will be spoiled for choice at this property which offers something for everyone.

One of the most important features of a holiday home is space, and this property provides plenty of it, making it idyllic for family holidays or friends sharing. The whole property has been designed to a high spec with a definitive modern feel throughout. The contemporary lounge is a great spot for relaxing as it’s been decorated in muted grey tones and has several comfortable sofas and a Smart TV for movie evenings. The open plan kitchen/dining space is perfect for entertaining. This modern space has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating, a large dining table and French doors that allow the light to fill the space. Meals together in this room will create wonderful holiday memories. Upstairs, there are three stylish bedrooms: one twin, one room with a bunk bed (ideal for children) and a king-size room with en suite shower room and a daybed that can be used to sleep an extra guest. The family bathroom with shower and bath on this floor completes the space. There are two further bedrooms on the second floor: one twin room and another king-size room with a daybed that can be used to sleep yet another guest. There’s a shower room on this floor that can be shared between the two rooms.

Outside, the contemporary style continues, with a well-maintained lawn, gas BBQ, patio area with furniture and a separate summer house at the far end of the lawn. Inside this space, children and adults alike will love playing in the games area which has a pool table, TV, games console and lots of squishy bean bags where the young ones can rest and recuperate. Modern , comfortable well equipped house, very close to beach and pier , the table tennis and snooker table ,outside seating areas make it ideal for family/friends to get together.

Spacious house accommodates 12 well. Moderate walk to the pier/sandy beach and very pretty busy high street with good mix or brands and independent shops. Light house, pubs and a brewery. Weather was mixed, used the large coffee table for the Southwold jigsaw.

Very smart and comfortable house thats great for family gatherings . The decorated Xmas trees were a lovely touch . Really convenient location . The house is beautifully decorated .

A very well appointed, clean and comfortable property. It suited everyone in our group (aged 15-75). Pool table and fire pit and real hit, large dining area and lounge facilitated lots of family time together.

Its a fab place and we had a great time but if our circumstances were different I would never have paid this much for a 3 night stay even at Easter. The place is ideal for a family stay and the standards throughout are excellent. Cleaning needs to improve slightly with cobwebs visible in a number of places and the dusting in the lounge wasnt great.Read more There were not enough toilet rolls and those provided were cheap. Parking is not quite as easy as described as the house is on a built up estate road and there are only 2 spaces at the side of the property and we had 3 cars. Getting in and out was also challenging due to locals parking close to the drive. All of these are relatively trivial points and did not detract from what was a really enjoyable stay in a property that is outstanding. The finishing is exceptional and everything is high quality especially the blinds on the top floor! The kids loved the freedom of the outside area, the adults enjoyed the pool table and table tennis and in the Summer it must be fabulous to make full use of the patio BBQ etc. Southwold is a beautiful place to stay and I hope we can return at some point. A couple of issues with the property; the bins were full when we arrived so we couldnt fit any rubbish in. Most of the pans were greasy, and the ovens were really full of grease when we cooked. Otherwise, the property was brilliant. We would definitely book and stay again!

Overall we were pleased with the rental but the fact that there was no internet connection was very frustrating. We assume there will be some financial recompense for this.
