Visit the great fun Southwold Maize Maze in the summer months (2 miles away) or take a ferry across the River Blyth from the harbour (1.5. miles away) to the idyllic village of Walberswick, home to the British Crabbing Championship and many celebrities. Explore miles and miles of stunning coastline on foot along the Suffolk Coast Path with stunning scenery and wildlife to enjoy.

The tiled hall leads to the main sitting room, with its stunning bay window and sea views, a pretty ornamental fireplace and lots of space to sit and relax. There’s the bonus of a second cosy sitting room, which also has a bay window and decorative fireplace, perfect for sitting and chatting or just enjoying some peace and a good book. The modern kitchen is well equipped for cooking delicious meals, with a large range cooker, plenty of storage space and dining room for everyone. It’s connected to the utility room – ideal for keeping coats and boots tucked away – which leads to the ground-floor shower room, super handy for de-sanding after a day on the beach. On the first floor are two of the four bedrooms – a spacious king room with lovely sea views, and a bright and airy twin. Both rooms have use of the lovely large family bathroom. Up on the second floor, you’ll find the master bedroom, with a king-size bed and comfortable seating, and the bunk room, ideal for kids. There’s also a second bathroom on this floor.
The house has a paved garden, accessed from the back door or via the street entrance, with pretty planting and a pergola, with a table and chairs, where you can sit and enjoy a drink or dinner alfresco. There’s also a shed in the garden you’re welcome to use to store beach gear and bikes.
