Located in the north of the town with views over Buss Creek, Southwold Pier and beach with its colourful beach huts is just 500 metres away, while the high street with its independent shops, pubs and restaurants and iconic lighthouse is just 0.5 miles. Part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the entire region is much loved by walkers and birdwatchers with nearby reserves including RSPB Minsmere (11 miles). Hop on the ferry (or drive 8 miles) to the quaint town of Walberswick, renowned for its crabbing culture, sandy beach and nature reserve, or visit the artistic town of Aldeburgh (18 miles).

This is a contemporary cottage that’s been extended and renovated, and offers beautiful styling and fantastic attention to detail throughout. A garden path leads to the front door on the side of the property and into an entrance hall with a utility cupboard and door to the downstairs bedroom. The main living space is open plan, featuring a combined lounge, kitchen and diner with bi-fold doors leading out to the garden. This is a light and spacious room with a fitted kitchen running along the outer wall, a cosy living space with a selection of seating arranged around the TV and wood burner, and a large dining table next to the patio doors.
