This trendy, three-storey house by the coast has so much space for groups or big families to make holiday memories - and more can be made in the vibrant seaside village of Abersoch, in the Llyn Peninsula, where this house is centrally located. Discover the former fishing village’s shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants where you can try local seafood or cooling ice cream. Make the most of sunny days on Abersoch’s long, sandy beach by renting a colourful beach hut so you have everything with you. Boats sail out to the nearby islands of St Tudwal’s and Bardsey, which makes a nice trip when the conditions are good - especially as you can spot St Tudwal’s from your holiday home. Further afield, you’ll find other seaside destinations like Porth Neigwl Beach (2.5 miles) which is famous for surfing.
Enjoy a fabulous group getaway at this stylish holiday home. You enter the property through the internal porch - the first unique space with its original floor tiles, stained glass window and exposed brickwork - and into the entrance hall that boasts high ceilings, natural stone tiles with underfloor heating and a table with stools and a lamp where you can simply enjoying quiet reading time. Head through to the open-plan living area that’s the social highlight of the house. Prepare group meals morning through night in the well-equipped kitchen that’s large enough for lots of you to spend time together, including at the island unit with six bar stools where you can sip a brew made in the Krupps coffee machine. The area is an inviting space with exposed brickwork, quartz worktops and overhead beams. Beside the kitchen is the dining area that’s the perfect spot for big group meals with its individually designed 11-foot dining table, cool pendant lights hanging above to create atmosphere and a flame-effect fire at the end of the table. There are more relaxation spots on the ground floor including the front lounge that’s snug with its wood burner, sofas to seat nine guests - including one sofa in a charming bay window - and entertainment options from the TV to the chest of family games. You can get cosy in here while other guests snuggle up in the conservatory playroom, relaxing on the leather sofa or bean bag with the TV and flame-effect fire on. The sociable ground floor is complete with a handy WC-included cloakroom and a spacious utility room that leads to the backyard and houses amenities like a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer. Climb the stairs and pass through the landing to the first-floor master bedroom: a king-size bedroom featuring a velvet chaise longue beside large, corner windows showcasing far-off sea views over the surrounding houses. You’ll also benefit from the en-suite shower room with a walk-in double shower and feature wall and floor tiles that keep things stylish. The second king-size bedroom has an antique armchair in the bay window so you can take in more of those far-off sea views, as well as an en-suite WC. There’s also a double bedroom on this floor and a twin with an en-suite WC featuring retro patterned wall tiling. The main first-floor bathroom is also stylishly tiled and has a bath for your relaxation. You’ll find more bedrooms and a shower room (which has some limited head height) up on the second floor, at the top of the house. The double bedroom has original alcoves which adds interesting depth and structure to the room; and the snug single bedroom is set in the house eaves (with some limited head height) with views out to sea. The final bedroom is perfect for families or older children with its two single beds and set of bunk beds. You’ll get sea glimpses from the small window over one of the single beds.
Why not take the socialising outdoors to the front elevated stone patio with dining table, chairs and a Weber gas BBQ so you can dine al fresco in the lovely seaside air. Steps from the house lead down to this lovely area.
